4th February is World Cancer Day.
This is the day which reminds us about this disease which is still a mystery killer disease of mankind . Research is going on at molecular and nano level to find out the root cause.
There is progress and someday it wll be revealed and Cancer will be answered appropriately.
Present problem in treatment and management is inability and inaccessibility to have proper treatment for many cancer patients , particularly less previlaged people.
The theme of this year's World Cancer Day observance — “Close the Care Gap” — is intended to increase awareness about inequities in cancer care.
Let’s work together to achieve the goal.

৪ ফেব্রুয়ারী বিশ্ব ক্যান্সার দিবস।এই দিবস পালনের লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্য - এই ঘাতক ব্যাধি বিষয়ে মানুষকে সচেতন করা । গবেষনা চলছে একেবারে অনু পরমানু ও ন্যানো টেকনোলজী পর্যায়ে।একদিন রহস্য উদঘাটিত হবে আর চিকিৎসায় সাফল্য আসবে- আমরা এই আশায় বুক বাঁধি।
বর্তমানে যতটুকু চিকিৎসা আছে- তা অনেকেরই নাগালের মধ্যে নেই - বিশেষ করে গরীব ও অনগ্রসর জনগোষ্ঠির কাছে।
তাই এবারের বিশ্ব ক্যান্সার দিবসের প্রতিপাদ্য- “চলুন সেবার ক্ষেত্রে বৈষম্য কমিয়ে আনি”।
সবাই সচেতন হলে আর সহযোগীতার হাত বাড়ালে সেটা সম্ভব হবে।
