কখনো কখনো এমন হয় যে, স্টেরয়েড ইঞ্জেকশন দেয়ার জন্য অথবা আঘাত জনিত কারনে অথবা এমনিতেই শরীরের কোন একটা অংশে গর্তের মতো হয়ে যায় যাকে ইংরেজিতে আমরা Contour deformty বলি। একজন অভিজ্ঞ প্লাস্টিক সার্জন রোগীর শরীরের অন্য অংশ থেকে ফ্যাট বা চর্বি লাইপোসাকশন এর মাধ্যমে নিয়ে বিশেষ প্রক্রিয়ায় সেই চর্বি প্রসেস করে উক্ত স্থানটি ভরাট করেন যাকে fat graft বলে। Fat graft প্লাস্টিক সার্জারীর একটি যুগান্তকারী উদ্ভাবন।
