Charter of SABIS
Scholars Association of Bangladesh National Institute of Sports (SABIS)

An organization of scholars originated from Bangladesh National Institute of Sports (BKSP).

Motivation:
Work selflessly without desire for return. Honesty and sincerity will be the prime concerns for members.

Objectives:
Look after the welfare of BKSP.
Run an elite sports institution.
Run a sports channel.
Organize sports science seminars.
Publish sports journals and magazines.

Eligibility:
1. Professors and Scientists*
2. Successful officials and organizers*
3. Successful teachers and coaches*
4. Successful students and sports performers*

Enmity:
1. Any relation to politics or political organizations.
2. Any relation to illegal organizations.
3. Any relation to dishonesty.
4. Any relation to drugs and alcohol.
5. Any relation to criminal offenses.
6. Any relation to unfair means.
7. Any history of nepotism.
8. Any history of racism.

*a PhD in the respective field from a university in any sports-developed country.
*a First author of a minimum of two publications published in internationally reputed journals.
*a At least five oral presentations in internationally reputed sports science conferences.
*a Will be nominated by the specified committee.

*b PhD in the respective field from a university in any sports-developed country.
*b Author of a minimum of two publications published in internationally reputed journals.
*b At least five oral presentations in internationally reputed sports science conferences.
*b Will be nominated by the specified committee.

[**Two members from each of the four eligible groups mentioned above.]

c. Have proven honesty and sincerity.
*c Employed based on quality, not unfair means.
*c Served at least five years for BKSP.
*c Will be nominated by successful sports performers and student members.

d. Master’s degree (with honors) from a reputed university.
*d Best students (up to 5th position) of the long-term program of BKSP.
*d Best players (up to 5th position) of the long-term program of BKSP.
*d Member of the senior national team (at least four consecutive times).
*d Smoothly passed-out cadets.

Positions:
Presidents (organization, sports institution, sports channel).
Vice Presidents (organization, sports institution, sports channel).
General Secretaries (organization, sports institution, sports channel).
Assistant Secretaries (organization, sports institution, sports channel).
Treasurer (organization, sports institution, sports channel).

All the above-mentioned positions will be nominated by members of this organization. Educational qualifications, performance in sports, experience in respective fields, and seniority will be preferred in selection and nomination.

Definition of Successful:
Organizer: PhD and equivalent.
Coach: PhD and equivalent.
Teacher: PhD and equivalent.
Student: PhD and equivalent.
Sports Performer: Accredited by national and/or international organizations.

Minimum level to be achieved to become a member:
1. In sports education: MSc/MA in any sports-related subject.
2. In sports profession: Senior Coach/Manager/Coach of a national team with proper certification from international organizations.
3. In civil service: Deputy Secretary or equivalent.
4. In defense service: Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent.
5. National Players: Junior National for Football and Cricket. Senior National for all others.
6. In general education: Assistant Professor or equivalent.
7. In business: Managing Director or equivalent.
8. In media and communication: Editor or equivalent.

N.B. This charter is just a proposal and needs to be modified with valuable suggestions from SABIS members.

Mere talks are insufficient; genuine transformation requires embracing Quranic teachings and the noble example of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The Book of Signs offers profound wisdom, yet much remains unrealized or unreached.

Let's strive to:

1. Study and reflect on Quranic verses.
2. Emulate Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) character and compassion.
3. Integrate Islamic values into daily life.

Through self-refinement and sincerity, we can manifest positive change.

As Allah says in the Quran: "Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves." (13:11)

Let's embark on this transformative journey, guided by faith and illuminated by the Book of Signs."

Stand Up Against Injustice: Be Honest, Be Brave!

I urge you to courageously confront the miscreants who threaten our society. Political parties have fostered these hyenas, and it's time to hold them accountable.

Hasina (Hyena) did the same and waiting on trials. Miscreants followed her and were silent are all inhuman and should be punished . Their brutalities created several world records!

I vividly recall saving a brilliant student's life during my time at FH Hall Extension Building, Dhaka University. My room, 1001, was adjacent to the prayer room, where I sought refuge for the student. The perpetrators, known to me, possessed a glimmer of humanity and listened to my pleas.

I locked the student in the prayer room and alerted the provost, ensuring his safety. That timely intervention was a crucial step.

Tragically, I wasn't there to save Abrar Fahad and many others. But I hope my actions inspired others to stand up against injustice.

Let's unite to protect humanity:

1. Be honest and brave in the face of adversity.
2. Confront those who perpetrate violence and fear.
3. Support victims and whistleblowers.

The time to act is now. Let's reclaim our society from the forces of darkness.

To achieve overall development of Bangladesh's soccer structure, we need a comprehensive strategy. What is the plan to elevate football performance in Bangladesh? Which key components will be addressed to bridge the gap with world-class standards?

Before making promises, we demand transparency:

1. Publish the detailed working plan and its implementation timeline.
2. Reveal the expert team behind the strategy.
3. Outline the performance metrics and evaluation criteria.

To minimize the difference in performance variables with world-class teams, we require:

1. Talent identification and development programs.
2. Infrastructure upgrades (stadiums, training facilities).
3. Coach education and licensing.
4. Competitive league structures.
5. Youth development initiatives.

Medha (merit) will be the sole criterion for future leadership. No compromises on competence.

Let's unite to revolutionize Bangladesh football.

The recent quota reform movement has brought about significant changes, and it's heartening to see the youth taking charge and demanding a better future. The movement's initial focus on restructuring quota-based systems for government job recruitment has expanded into demands for accountability, an end to violence, and the resignation of certain government officials.

The sacrifices made by the heroes who lost their lives during the protests will always be remembered, and it's essential that their families are taken care of. The nation should indeed honor their memory and contributions to the movement.

*Key Demands of the Movement:*

- _Cancellation of the existing quota system_ for government jobs

- _Provision of quota at fair rates_ to minority groups and disabled people

- _Passing a new law_ in parliament to establish a new quota system

- _Accountability for violence_ and resignation of responsible government officials

It's crucial to have honest and capable leaders in power, and the youth are right to demand an end to corruption and nepotism. The concept of "Medha" (merit-based recruitment) should be implemented to ensure fairness and equality in job opportunities.

Bangladesh has made significant progress in recent years, with impressive economic growth and poverty reduction. However, challenges persist, and the country needs sustained efforts to address issues like inequality, infrastructure gaps, and climate change.

Bangladesh Sports lacks the right leadership. BKSP, our sports oasis, is unfortunately in the wrong hands and has become corrupted over time due to nasty mindsets. A Brigadier General is typically deployed, often against their will, and Directors lack the necessary competence. Coaches and teachers should be appointed based on merit (Medha).

Sports are vital to achieving three zeros (zero corruption, zero poverty, and zero unemployment). Let's focus on sports development!

New Bangladesh!!! Please motivate, educate, and convince voters to vote for people not party. Only honest and dynamic leaders can change Bangladesh 🇧🇩. Same is true for the world!

We have seen and still seeing the spirit of our nation. Specifically the youngs are the best to choose.

Most of our experienced are either corrupt or already lost dedication to fight against corruption.

Only and only honest and trustworthy young individuals are our prime pillars to build the new Bangladesh.

We got a very smart young generation who saved us and will be helping us to reach three zeros. May Allah help our nation.
