Notre Dame Debating Club extends its heartfelt wishes to Dewan Omar Bin Rayhan, President of Debate & Workshop, on his birthday.

As a committed member of the Executive Team, his contributions have been instrumental in shaping the identity and progress of the club. From mentoring juniors to providing consistent leadership in organizing open and show debates and various sessions, he has exemplified dedication and responsibility at every step.

The Notre Dame Debating Club proudly launched Batch 27’s debating journey with not one but two dynamic introductory sessions, setting the perfect stage for our freshers.

On September 17 (Wednesday), we had the privilege of learning from Hamim Islam — Debater, G.O.D; Former Debater, NDDC 1; and Executive, BDC. Guiding our freshers through the fundamentals of debate, he shared insights on building strong and logical arguments, navigating formats, and finding confidence in one’s voice. Room 231 of Ganguly Bhaban buzzed with curiosity and the first sparks of passion for debate.

The journey continued on September 24 (Wednesday) with Ahmar Atif Biswas — Debater, IBA DU; Former Debater NDDC Gold & NDDC 1; Former President, NDDC-DnW. He delved into the crucial aspects of “Speaker Roles and Motion Approach”, showing how to analyze motions effectively, understand speaker roles, and sharpen strategies for competitive success. The Seminar Room of Ganguly Bhaban was filled with eager minds ready to take their skills to the next level.

Together, these sessions marked a powerful beginning for Batch 27 — a new generation of debaters stepping into the legacy of NDDC with courage, curiosity, and commitment. Here’s to countless victories and fiery battles of ideas ahead!

After years of anticipation, the flagship intra-college inter-group debating tournament of the Notre Dame Debating Club makes its grand comeback in its original, classic format. This tournament is the birthplace of champions, the stage where raw talent transforms into polished brilliance, and where the future torchbearers of NDDC’s proud debating legacy are discovered.

From this platform, the brightest minds of the Batch of ’26 will emerge, vying for a coveted place in the prestigious official teams of NDDC—Gold, Blue, Silver, Green and Red. For decades, INTRA has been the first gateway to greatness, giving Bangladesh some of its finest debaters, thinkers, and leaders.

This year, The Voice Returns to once again ignite the debating spirit and sharpen intellects.
