Prime Bank Eye Hospital (an initiative of Prime Bank Foundation) sign MoU with BRAC!
The MoU signing ceremony was held at the conference room of BRAC on June 20, 2017 (Tuesday). The programme was represented by BRAC, authorized representative, (Dr. Kaosar Afsana, Director, Health Nutrition and Population Programme (hereinafter referred to as HNPP-BRAC) and Prime Bank Foundation, authorized representative, (Dr. Iqbal Anwar, Chief Executive Officer,(hereinafter referred to as Prime Bank Eye Hospital, PBEH-PBF). The broader goal is “Elimination of avoidable blindness from Bangladesh by 2020”, Vision Bangladesh Project Phase II for the period of 01 January 2017 to 31 December 2020.

MoU signing ceremony between PBEH (an initiative of Prime Bank Foundation) & Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP)!

Prime Bank Eye Hospital (PBEH) successfully made a renewable agreement with Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). All the members of DMP, their spouses, children and parents will receive eye care services from Prime Bank Eye Hospital (PBEH) at a reduced rate.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at the conference room of DMP HQ on June 13, 2017 (Tuesday). The programme was chaired by Md. Assaduzzaman Mia, BPM (Bar), PPM and Honorable Commissioner, DMP.

Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury, the Managing Director & CEO of Prime Bank Limited and Dr. Iqbal Anwar, CEO of Prime Bank Foundation was present during the MoU signing ceremony.

Other dignitaries from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP); Md. Shahab Uddin Qureshi, Additional Police Commissioner (Admin), Mohd. Ashrafuzzaman, DC (HQ & Admin), Khondaker Nazmul Hassan,DC, POM (West), Md. Zakir Hossain Majumder, DC (Welfare & Force Division) and other high officials were present during the MoU signing ceremony.

Prime Bank Eye Hospital arranged a Sensitisation Workshop for the local people of in Narayanhat, Fatikchhari, Chittagong, followed by the formal launching of our Vision Centre. The programme was attended by Mr. Nader Khan,Chairman of Prime Bank Foundation and Director of Prime Bank Ltd. as the Chief Guest and Dr. Iqbal Anwar, CEO of Prime Bank Foundation as the Special Guest. Mr. Abu Jafor Mahmud, Upazila Parishad Chairman of Narayanhat, presided over the workshop.

The Vision Centre will be using telemedicine as a medium of communication with eye specialists at the base hospital (Prime Bank Eye Hospital). This initiative hopes to reach people in remote areas and provide them with quality eyecare while utilising the internet for fast and effective communication and cure, thereby fulfilling one of the core objectives of Prime Bank Eye Hospital to make eyecare more accessible.

A Memorandum of Agreement was signed by Mrs. Uzma Chowdhury, Director of Finance, on behalf of PRAN Dairy Limited and Dr. Iqbal Anwar, CEO of Prime Bank Foundation on behalf of Prime Bank Eye Hospital. Among others, Ms. Nikki Maderazo Along, Project Coordinator of Prime Bank Foundation and Mr. Rahel Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director, Prime Bank Ltd. as well as other officials of both PRAN-RFL and Prime Bank Foundation were also present.

This MoA will ensure that PRAN Dairy Ltd.’s staff, their spouse, children and parents as well as PRAN Dairy Ltd.’s beneficiaries will receive quality eyecare services from Prime Bank Eye Hospital at reduced rates. Under this agreement, Prime Bank Eye Hospital will perform eye camps which will be organised and supported by PRAN Dairy Ltd.
