Lazy Eye (Amblyopia) এমন একটি চোখের সমস্যা, যেখানে একটি চোখ স্বাভাবিকভাবে দেখতে পারে না—যদিও বাইরে থেকে চোখটি একদম স্বাভাবিক দেখায়।

🧒 এই সমস্যা সাধারণত শিশুদের মধ্যে বেশি দেখা যায় এবং অনেক সময় শুরুতেই ধরা পড়ে না। সময়মতো চিকিৎসা না করলে ধীরে ধীরে সেই চোখের দৃষ্টিশক্তি স্থায়ীভাবে কমে যেতে পারে।

⏰ তবে সুখবর হলো শিশুর ৭–৮ বছরের মধ্যে চিকিৎসা শুরু করলে বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রে ভালো ফল পাওয়া সম্ভব।

📢 চোখের গ্লোকোমা রোগ সম্পর্কে সচেতন হোন - দৃষ্টি রক্ষা করুন।

Glaucoma এমন একটি রোগ যা ধীরে ধীরে চোখের অপটিক নার্ভকে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করে এবং সময়মতো চিকিৎসা না করলে স্থায়ীভাবে দৃষ্টিশক্তি হারানোর ঝুঁকি তৈরি হয়। সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় হলো - অনেক ক্ষেত্রেই এর প্রাথমিক কোনো লক্ষণ বা উপর্সগ বোঝা যায় না!

🔹 চোখের অভ্যন্তরে চাপ বৃদ্ধি বা অপটিক নার্ভের ক্ষতি গ্লোকোমার প্রধান কারণ।
🔹 যদি সময়মতো এটি ধরা না পড়ে, তাহলে এটি চিরস্থায়ী অন্ধত্বের কারণ হতে পারে।
🔹 এজন্য ৪০ উর্ধ্ব সব মানুষের বছরে ১ বার গ্লোকোমার পরীক্ষা করা প্রয়োজন।
