Congratulations to newly elected Chairman Dr. Apurba Kanti Bishwas ,Secretary General Dr. Nazrul Islam & other members of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Alumni Trust- BSMMCAT executive committee 2023-2024.

The first Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Alumni Trust (BSMMCAT) meeting was held at the main conference lounge of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College with the motto "Renewal, Rebirth and Destruction" an ancient Greek and Egyptian mythology "Phoenix Bird" symbolizes immortality, resurrection and life after death. At the meeting, alumni of our alma mater "BSMMC" have decided to select a dynamic and courageous leadership to uphold the honour and dignity of BSMMC in Bangladesh and abroad. Dr Apurba Kanti Biswas (Session 1992-1993) and Dr Md Nazrul Islam (Session 1994-1995) was elected unanimously as BSMMCAT Chairman and Secretary General, respectively, along with two Organizing Secretary, Dr Redoy Ranjan (Session 2003-2004) and Dr Mainul Mahmud Suny (Session 2008-2009) for the session 2023-24.
On occasion, Chairman Apurba Kanti Biswas said that we would work together for our prestigious organization and Secretary General, Dr Md Nazrul Islam, to reinforce establishing a good relationship between senior and junior alumni to uphold rights and privileges and get support, especially for educational, research collaboration and professional development.
