🎉🏛️ Orientation Ceremony | Executive Committee 2025–2026 | German University Bangladesh Public Health Club 🏛️🎉

The orientation ceremony for the German University Bangladesh Public Health Club (GUBPHC) was held at the GUB auditorium on September 26, 2025. The event was presided over by the Honorable Vice Chancellor sir, Professor Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary, and Dr. Md. Monoarul Haque sir, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Head of the Department of Public Health. Club members and students of the Public Health Department were present.

The event started with the recitation from the Holy Quran and the reading from the Holy Geeta.

The program was anchored by Asmaul Housna Nishi, Women and Gender Affairs Secretary, who guided the event proceedings smoothly.

Public Health Club President Mahmud Hasan welcomed the Honorable Vice Chancellor sir with floral greetings. The Vice Chancellor sir cordially welcomed all members.

The president shared a valuable presentation about the Public Health Club, its members, mission, vision, event plan, budget, income, and future goals.

Club's General Secretary Md. Mamun, Joint Secretary Mukter Hossain, and Organizing Secretary Faysal Bin Jahangir delivered speeches about their plans, activities, public health initiatives, research, networking, and collaboration.

Ummy Salma (General Member) also gave a speech highlighting her perspective and plans.

The Honorable Vice Chancellor sir welcomed every member of the Public Health Club's Executive Committee-2025. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of morality and ethics for students’ academic and professional development and guided the committee on formulating the club’s vision and mission to enrich its functional dynamism within the community.

The new committee took an oath to work on health awareness programs and academic excellence, collaborating with local and international NGOs and higher educational institutions in Bangladesh.

The Dean & Head of Department, Dr. Md. Monoarul Haque sir, delivered his closing remarks, appreciating the club’s efforts and giving special thanks to the convenor of the program.

Faculty members of the Public Health Department, including Md. Abu Hasnat Abdullah (Lecturer), Nahida Akter (Lecturer), and Rowshan Ara Afrin (Lecturer), attended the event, showing their support and encouragement for the new committee.

The event wrapped up with a cake-cutting ceremony and a photo session celebrating the new committee.
