The Christian Community in Bangladesh is well known for its contribution in the education and health sector, spreading out its wings almost in all the districts and remote areas of Bangladesh. Since the past 80 years or so a number of famous schools and colleges have been established by The Christian Community and its affiliated organization all over in Bangladesh. In the health sector too, there
are a number of hospitals clinics and primary health care centers, which have become famous for their standard practices and compassionate care to the local inhabitants. However, the mother hospital in the private sector at the Pre-Liberation period was “The Holy Family Hospital” in the heart of Dhaka city.
