🇲🇻🤝🇧🇩 High-Level Meeting on Medical Education Cooperation
The Bangladesh Government and BPMCA Delegation held a productive and cordial meeting with the Honorable State Ministers of Health of the Maldives, Mrs. Aminah Shirna and Ms. Khadeeja Abdul Samad Abdulla, along with Dr. Ali Shahid Mohamed, President, Maldives Medical Council, and Mohamed Shafee A. Munim, Registrar, Maldives Medical Council.
The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Nazmul Hossain, Director General (DGME); Mollika Khatun, Joint Secretary, MoHFW; Professor Dr. Md. Moajjem Hossain, Secretary General, BPMCA; Dr. Gazi Mizanur Rahman, Vice President; Rois A. Rob, Vice President; Saimum Sairus, Joint Secretary; M. A. Mubin Khan, IPP, along with other distinguished members.
Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in medical education, expanding opportunities for Maldivian students to pursue MBBS and other health-related studies in Bangladesh, and enhancing collaboration in higher education, skills development, and healthcare workforce capacity building.
Both sides expressed strong commitment to fostering long-term partnerships that will benefit students, academic institutions, and the healthcare sectors of both countries.

🇧🇩🤝🇲🇻 Bangladesh Medical Education Expo 2025 | Malé, Maldives
The Inauguration Ceremony of the Bangladesh Medical Education Expo was successfully held at Hotel Barceló Nasandhura, Malé.
The event was honored by the presence of Honorable State Ministers of Health of the Maldives, Mrs. Aminah Shirna and Ms. Khadeeja Abdul Samad Abdulla, along with distinguished delegates and representatives from 14 private medical colleges of Bangladesh.
Insightful speeches were delivered by Dr. Md. Nazmul Islam, Honorable High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the Maldives; Professor Dr. Nazmul Hossain, DGME; Ms. Mollika Khatun, Joint Secretary, MoHFW; Professor Dr. Md. Moajjem Hossain, Secretary General, BPMCA; and IPP MA Mubin Khan.
The Expo marks a significant step toward strengthening bilateral cooperation in medical education and expanding opportunities for Maldivian students to pursue MBBS in Bangladesh. Many students spiring study MBBS visited the Expo.

গতকাল ১৭ই ডিসেম্বর ২০২৫ তারিখ রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের দ্বাদশ সমাবর্তন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। গাজী মেডিকেল কলেজের জি-০১ থেকে জি-০৬ ব্যাচ পর্যন্ত রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধীনে তাদের এমএমবিবিএস কোর্স সম্পন্ন করে।গতকাল ছিল তাদের সেই কাঙ্খিত দিন। গাজী মেডিকেল কলেজের ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা অত্যন্ত আনন্দঘন পরিবেশে দ্বাদশ সমাবর্তনে অংশগ্রহন করে। এখানে উল্লেখ থাকে যে, কলেজের ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের এটা ছিল প্রথম সমাবর্তন।
