*গরম থেকে রক্ষা পেতে যা করবেন*

১. পাতলা ও হালকা রঙের পোশাক পরুন
২. বাড়ির বাইরে থাকার সময় সরাসরি রোদ এড়িয়ে চলার চেষ্টা করুন
৩. শরীরে পানিশূন্যতা এড়াতে অতিরিক্ত পানি ও শরবত পান করতে হবে
৪. স্যালাইন পানিতে থাকা সোডিয়াম, পটাশিয়াম ও চিনি শরীর সজীব রাখতে বিশেষভাবে কার্যকর। দীর্ঘ সময় গরমে থাকলে স্যালাইন পান করুন।
৫. গ্রীষ্মকালীন ফল দিয়ে তৈরি তাজা জুস পান করুন
৬. মাংস এড়িয়ে বেশি করে ফল ও সবজী খান
৭. প্রস্রাবের রঙ খেয়াল করুন। প্রস্রাবের গাঢ় রঙ পানি স্বল্পতার লক্ষণ।
৮. সব সময় ছাতা বা টুপি সাথে রাখুন
৯. ত্বককে সূর্যের ক্ষতিকর রশ্মি থেকে রক্ষা করতে সানস্ক্রিন ব্যবহার করুন
১০. চেষ্টা করুন যেন দিনে কম বাইরে যেতে হয়


*হিটস্ট্রোক কী*
ঢাকার আইসিডিডিআর’বি হাসপাতালের চিকিৎসক ড. আলিয়া নাহীদ জানান, বাইরে তাপমাত্রা যাই হোক না কেন আমাদের শরীর স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে তাপমাত্রা প্রায় স্থির রাখতে সক্ষম। কিন্তু অতিরিক্ত গরমে শরীরের তাপমাত্রা নিয়ন্ত্রণ ব্যবস্থা কাজ করা বন্ধ করে দিলে তখন তাকে হিট স্ট্রোক বলা হয়। এর ফলে ঘাম বন্ধ হয়ে গিয়ে শরীরের তাপমাত্রা দ্রুত বাড়তে শুরু করে।

*হিটস্ট্রোকের লক্ষণ*

১. শরীরের তাপমাত্রা দ্রুত বেড়ে যাওয়া
২. গরমে অচেতন হয়ে যাওয়
৩. মাথা ঘোরা
৪. তীব্র মাথা ব্যথা
৫. ঘাম কমে যাওয়া
৬. ত্বক গরম ও শুষ্ক হয়ে যাওয়া
৭. শারীরিক দুর্বলতা ও পেশিতে টান অনুভব করা
৮. বমি হওয়া
৯. হৃদস্পন্দন বেড়ে যাওয়া
১০. শ্বাস কষ্ট
১১. মানসিক বিভ্রম
১২. খিঁচুনি

*হিটস্ট্রোকের প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা*
কারো হিটস্ট্রোক হলে বা অচেতন হয়ে গেলে যত দ্রুত সম্ভব চিকিৎসার ব্যবস্থা করতে হবে। এই সময়ের মধ্যে যে কাজগুলো করতে হবে তা হলো:

১. হিটস্ট্রোকে আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তিকে অপেক্ষাকৃত ঠান্ডা বা শীতাতপ নিয়ন্ত্রিত ঘরে নিয়ে যেতে হবে। রোগীর শরীর থেকে অপ্রয়োজনীয় কাপড় খুলে ফেলতে হবে।
২. রোগীর শরীরে বাতাস করতে হবে। কাপড় ঠান্ডা পানিতে ভিজিয়ে গা মুছে ফেলতে হবে।
৩. শরীরের তাপমাত্রা কমাতে বগল, ঘাড়, পিঠ ও কুচকিতে আইসপ্যাক ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
