মাগুরা পলি ক্লিনিকের নামের অনুকরণে এই অঞ্চলে অনেক হাসপাতাল ও ক্লিনিক গড়ে উঠেছে। কিন্তু মাগুরা পলি ক্লিনিকের এই নামকরণের কারণ কোন ব্যাক্তিবিশেষ নয়, বরং "পলি" (Poly = multiple) শব্দ দ্বারা এই প্রতিষ্ঠানে যে বহুমুখী সেবা প্রদান করা হয় তা বোঝানো হয়েছে।
৩৩ বছর আগে ১৯৯১ সালে মাগুরায় সর্বপ্রথম বেসরকারী হাসপাতাল হিসেবে যাত্রা শুরু করে মাগুরা পলি ক্লিনিক। জনাব ডাঃ মোক্তাদুর রহমান স্যার এর বাবার স্মৃতিতে প্রতিষ্ঠিত এই হাসপাতালটি সময়ের সাথে শুধু আস্থাই অর্জন করেনি, মাগুরা জেলা এবং এর আশপাশের অঞ্চলে অপ্রতিদ্বন্দী অবস্থানে পৌঁছেছে।
সামনের দিনগুলোয় মাগুরা পলি ক্লিনিক যুগের চাহিদার সাথে তাল মিলিয়ে নতুন ভাবে কার্যক্রম এগিয়ে নিতে দৃঢ় প্রতিজ্ঞ। এরই মধ্যে মাগুরা জেলায় সবচেয়ে আধুনিক অপারেশন থিয়েটার স্থাপনের কার্যক্রম হাতে নেয়া হয়েছে।
সবচেয়ে বেশি সংখ্যক নিজস্ব চিকিৎসকদের তত্ত্বাবধানে পরিচালিত এই প্রতিষ্ঠানে যে উন্নয়ন কার্যক্রম হাতে নেয়া হয়েছে, তা শীঘ্রই সাধারণ মানুষদের সহায়তার জন্য দৃশ্যমান হবে বলে আমরা আশাবাদী ইনশা আল্লাহ।
ব্যবসা নয়, বরং চিকিৎসা সেবাকে সাধারণের হাতের নাগালে রাখার ব্যাপারে আমরা বদ্ধপরিকর।
Many hospitals and clinics have come up in the region matching the name of Magura Poly Clinic. But the reason for this name of Magura "Poly" Clinic is not a person, but the word poly refers to the multidisciplinary services provided in this institution.
33 years ago in 1991, the 1st private hospital to start its operations is Magura Poly Clinic. Established in the memory of Dr. Moktadur Rahman's father, this hospital has not only gained trust over time, but has reached an unrivaled position in Magura district and its surrounding areas.
In the coming days, Magura Poly Clinic is determined to move forward in a new way to keep pace with the needs of the times. In the meantime, the work of setting up a modern operation theater in Magura district has been taken up.
We are hopeful that the development activities undertaken in this institute, which is managed by the largest number of its own doctors, will soon be visible for the help of the common people, Insha Allah.
