Since the beginning of time people have wondered what the reason for life is. We are born, we grow up, we find a job and before we know it we are old and ready to die and go to the grave. Are we here simply to produce children and help them grow up? We wonder why some die young and some live to a ripe old age. Do we die when we have accomplished our goals?
Solomon, the wisest mortal that ever lived studied life and came to the conclusion that we cannot find out the purposes of God or meaning of our life. This describes the problem of understanding our reason for life. God created everything including mankind for his own purpose. We cannot find out the meaning for our life through the wisdom of man, since only God knows his intention.God has ordered all things according to his own purpose and this shows that man's role is to accept these, including his own limitations, as God's appointments. Man should, therefore, be patient and enjoy life as God gives it. He should be prudent in everything, living carefully before God and above all, fearing God and keeping his commandments.Death is not the end of life. It is just the beginning. It simply changes from physical to spiritual. God raised Moses and Elijah who had been dead for thousands of years to talk to Jesus, Peter, James and John. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead and God raised Jesus from the grave. One of our purposes on earth is to prepare for the next world. The book, "Climbing the Heavenly Stairs," was written to help you understand the Bible and prepare to meet God in judgment. We will all have to give account of our life. This book gives the answers you need.
