প্রতিবন্ধী দিবস ২০২৫

প্রতি বছর ৩ ডিসেম্বর আন্তর্জাতিক প্রতিবন্ধী দিবস পালন করা হয়। এই দিনের উদ্দেশ্য হলো প্রতিবন্ধী মানুষের অধিকার, সুযোগ ও সম্মান নিশ্চিত করা। প্রতিবন্ধকতা কোনো দুর্বলতা নয়—সঠিক সহায়তা পেলে তারাও সমাজের উন্নয়নে সমান ভূমিকা রাখতে পারে।

আন্তর্জাতিক প্রতিবন্ধী দিবস–২০২৫ এর প্রতিপাদ্য বিষয় হলো:

“Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress.”

“সমাজের অগ্রগতির জন্য প্রতিবন্ধীদের নিয়ে সবার জন্য সুবিধাজনক ও অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক সমাজ তৈরি করা।”

প্রতিবন্ধীদের জন্য ফিজিওথেরাপির ভূমিকা:

• চলাফেরা ও ভারসাম্য উন্নত করা
• দৈনন্দিন কাজ (ADL) সহজ করা
• ব্যথা কমানো
• পেশী শক্তি বৃদ্ধি
• জয়েন্ট স্টিফনেস কমানো ও কনট্রাকচার প্রতিরোধ
• মোটর স্কিল উন্নয়ন (বিশেষ করে শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে)
• স্ট্রোক ও অন্যান্য নিউরোলজিকাল রোগীর পুনর্বাসন
• সহায়ক ডিভাইস (হুইলচেয়ার, ওয়াকার, ক্রাচ) ব্যবহারে নির্দেশনা
• পোস্টার ও এর্গোনোমিক্স শিক্ষা
• রোগীর আত্মবিশ্বাস বৃদ্ধি ও জীবনমান উন্নত করা।

আমাদের উচিত প্রতিবন্ধী মানুষের প্রতি সহানুভূতিশীল আচরণ করা, তাদের শিক্ষার সুযোগ বাড়ানো এবং কোনো ধরনের বৈষম্য না করা। সকলের সহযোগিতা এবং সামাজিক সচেতনতার মাধ্যমে আমরা একটি অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক ও মানবিক সমাজ গড়ে তুলতে পারি।
