We have successfully completed Day 9 of the SCMPCR E-Learning Program (ELP-10)โ€”a dynamic Group Discussion that concluded our live lecture series!

This session offered a unique opportunity for participants to engage directly with experts on a wide range of topics covered throughout the program.

A huge thank you to the speakers who joined the panel, including Prof. Dr. Carmel J. Caruana, Dr. Phil W. Koken, and Prof. Dr. Thomas Schrader, Mr. Markus Zelch, among other esteemed faculty.

The insightful discussion was expertly led by moderators Dr. Raju Srivastava and Dr. Mary Joan.

Day 8 of the SCMPCR E-Learning Program (ELP-10) was a huge success, focusing on the highly technical topic of optimization in treatment planning!

The session, Score function or optimization function in Radiotherapy, provided an in-depth analysis of the mathematical engines that drive modern dose delivery.

The lecture was led by Dr. Phil W. Koken (Medical Physicist, Dept. of Radiation Oncology in Amsterdam UMC, Netherlands).

The session was expertly moderated by Dr. Md. Alamgir Kabir (Associate Professor, Department of Physics, Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka).

The session, From Submission to Publication: What Physica Medica Looks for in a Strong Manuscript, was an invaluable guide for medical physics researchers.

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Iuliana Toma-Dasu (Head, Medical Radiation Physics, Stockholm University, Sweden). She provided expert insight into crafting a manuscript that meets high publication standards.

We're thrilled to announce the successful completion of Day 5 of the SCMPCR E-Learning Program (ELP-10)! This technical doubleheader focused on advanced Quality Assurance and SGRT.

๐Ÿ” The afternoon began with a deep dive into Clinical Implementation of a PSQA-Software from LAP, expertly led by Mr. Maximilian Grohmann from the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf.

๐Ÿ”ฌ This was immediately followed by PD Dr. Hui Khee Looe (Pius-Hospital, Oldenburg) presenting an insightful Early Clinical Application Report of a new SGRT-System from LAP.

๐Ÿ’ก Both dynamic sessions were skillfully moderated by Dr. Anwarul Islam, bringing valuable perspective to these essential radiotherapy technologies.

Day 4 of the SCMPCR E-Learning Program (ELP-10) wrapped up with an essential topic: Digital Medical Image Processing Techniques.

Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Schrader (Expert in Medical Informatics, Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany) guided us through the foundations and applications of digital image processing.

The session was moderated by Md. Motiur Rahman (Mithu) (Chief Medical Physicist & Assistant Project Director, TMSS Cancer Centre (TCC)).

The session was led by Dr. Hannah Mary Thomas T (Wellcome India Alliance Early Career Fellow, Christian Medical College, Vellore). She provided valuable insights into how AI is being integrated into cancer care and research.
