Shasthaya Paricharja & Kallayan Sangstha (SPKS) is a Non-Government Organization (NGO). Some organized social workers established it on consensus in 1998 aiming at reducing impact of limited initiatives for human resource development, drug addiction at individual, family & social level and limited health facilities. SPKS has explored a vision, a mission and some objectives including management policies which are legally approved by Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. SPKS since its inception has been implementing programs-Drug Addiction and STD/HIV/AIDS Prevention, Mother & Child Health and Family Planning (MCH and FP), fertility health and EPI building capacity of educated unemployed youths through institutions for providing different health services at grass-root level, raising awareness among mass people on different health issues presenting dramas, folk-songs through Interactive Popular Theatre, observing different Days followed by rallies, seminars drama & folk song presentation, free medical camps and providing medical check-up/test to slum dwellers through clinic.
