🚀 I am excited to share Version 1.0 of the Reproductive Health Data Quality and Performance Review Tool.
This is a practical Excel-based tool designed to help public health managers, reproductive health focal persons, M&E officers, DHIS2 users, district health teams, NGO staff, and program officers review one-month DHIS2 aggregate reproductive health facility data.
The tool helps users quickly identify:
✅ Missing required values
✅ Zero-only reporting
✅ ANC1 vs LLIN inconsistencies
✅ Deliveries vs AMTSL gaps
✅ Caesarean section performance
✅ PNC

When I first heard about DHIS2, I honestly thought,
"Just another complicated tool… probably for tech guys, not for people like us in the field."

I was wrong.

Back then, we were still drowning in paper forms, Excel sheets, and endless delays trying to report health data from rural clinics.
Sometimes it would take weeks — even months — to compile basic reports.
And the frustration? It was real.

Then a colleague introduced me to DHIS2.
I resisted.
I doubted it could work in low-resource, offline settings like the ones I worked in.

But when I finally gave it a try...
I was amazed.
I saw how DHIS2 could work offline, sync later, and give us clean dashboards to visualize trends in real-time.

Today, I’m an advocate for DHIS2 — not because it’s perfect, but because it makes a real difference where it matters most:
on the ground, in Africa, in our clinics, in our communities.
