FIRST THING EVERY SERIOUS PERSON THAT WANTS TO LOSE WEIGHT MUST DO
What is the first thing everyone that wants to lose weight needs to know about?
Do you think its the diet they have to go on?
Or the kind of exercise they have to do? Uhh?
All this things are important but they are not the very first thing you need to do. Do you want to know the first thing you need to take care of?
When you want to travel, do you just wake up, carry your travelling bag to the bus station and take any available bus without knowing where the bus is going to. Is that what you do when you want to travel?
I believe no reasonable person would do this.
When you want to travel, the first thing you do is not to arrange your bag, or go to the bus station.
The first thing you do is to know your destination, where are you going to, because it is your destination that would determine if you would be going by bus, by train or by air.
The same thing applies with weight loss. Losing weight is a journey and with every journey, there have to be a destination.
Having a goal: is the first thing you have to do in this journey. What is your destination? Where are you going to? What do you plan on achieving? Which part of your body do you want to focus on? How would you know if you have reached your goal? How long do you plan on spending on this program?
All this things are issues you have to settle before you start buying any product or registering for any fitness center.
I have seen people who come to the gym with the intention of losing weight and after 2 weeks, you stop seeing them. The reason behind this is lack of vision/goal, they didnβt have anything they want they achieve, so they stop coming.
So what is your goal, is there anybody you would like to have their kind of body, do you have their picture on your phone? Use it as your wallpaper, so you can see it everyday as a motivation.
For those that donβt have a goal, prepare one now.
Bring out a sheet of paper, write down the things you want to achieve, write down why you need to achieve it, write how long it will take you to achieve it, give yourself a target, and write down the reward you will give yourself when you achieve it.
Paste the sheet of paper in a place where you can see it everyday.
Do these task if you really want to lose weight.
