The Zodiac is the Design-Body of Creation, which can be understood as a hierarchy of electro-magnetic energy-fields forming every monad, atom, being, star and galaxy. All twelve signs are omni-present and ever-active in these hierarchies of Creation and of course in you too.

Today we begin our time in Scorpio and forever present in you, and always most deeply felt at this time every year, we need to open our hearts and minds to understand this forge of Creation itself, the realm that holds the secret to Spirit-Life-Consciousness.

For just as it is true for the smallest mote of Creation, we are made by our combinations. We become what we are by joining with one another, sharing with one another, transforming one another so as to be the very means of our self-transcendence, whether in our families, friendships, companionships and our intimate loves. But in all of these we must be prepared to sacrifice what we must and to hold onto what is sacred and true.

There is no alchemy without change, no combination without sacrifice and transformation. We know that it is here that the great work of “magic” may happen, that by our joining with one another we must and we will let go of that which is lesser within ourselves; we will face down our fears and forge our faith through one another, and by this discover that the greater is within us and between us now too.

The experience of sacrifice, of letting go of the lesser is how you grow into your greater self. The pain of sacrifice is real, but the joy of rebirth and growth is greater. This is the way of Spirit, and we will become what we were meant to be through our Unions and Transformations.

You have nothing to fear. You are an Immortal dancing through mortal realms. In Scorpio you live on the Razor’s Edge, between your faith and your fear. It is here that you will face ultimate Truth; that all things must pass away, for no form is forever.

But it is equally true that you will feel and know the Eternal Truth, that you are part of the One who is Everlasting. It is here in Scorpio that you experience a knowing beyond reason, a fortitude and strength beyond measure. You will feel the One that is within because you equally see that light of Creation shining through your beloved before you too.

The Fields of Creation
Today we have come to one of the four great turnings in the Astrological calendar, and you can feel the bending of the “light that is life”, as we pass through the Equinox and onto the second half of the Astrological year.

Four moments frame your journey through the stars, four realms that hold the sources of your experience yourself and of your world. Simply put, your ever-renewing understanding of yourself comes down to these simple but profound questions, “who am I, who are you, where did I come from, and where am I going”?

At this time every year, and somewhere forever illuminating your pathway to perfection, you walk through the holy space of Libra, as you seek to know yourself, be yourself and fulfill yourself through all the many relationships of your life. Yes, now we must bend our hearts and minds to consider this sacred experience of “I and thou”.

In truth, you are not a being apart, you are not, nor could you be on your own. You are formed by a veritable “host of hosts”; you are truly like a constellation, formed by many life-forms or beings. Whether you consider the miniature universe inside of your very own body, or in all of the worlds around you, you are shaped and formed by all your human to human and other life-form relationships.

Yes, it is most certainly true that we can only understand ourselves and all that is by seeing that we and everything and everyone in Creation are formed or made up of hosts of Energy-Fields, of holograms of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual fields that are interacting, shaping and informing one another.

The ancient wisdom holds that the Universe is Spirit-Life-Consciousness, and the One that is Creation becomes manifest by all the countless hosts of life-forms, from the most infinitesimal, which are the monads or sparks of the Divine, on up through all the energy-forms of Creation, in all the atoms, molecules, beings, planets and stars. All the Kingdoms of Life are made up of a host of beings who are the One Spirit, and who are the Life and who altogether form the Consciousness of Creation.

For me, the whole of Creation can be seen as these “fields within fields” of consciousnesses, of hierarchies of hosts, each of them formed from and by their relationships with one another. In essence, relationships are life, and without these relationships there would not be life at all.

For our human Kingdom, we most certainly can understand that our very nature is made by this crucible or forge of relationship. We “are what we are” because of one another. We are made in this present life by one another, just as we were by all the innumerable lives we have lived with one another before. Since the beginning of time, we have been formed and informed by all of our relations, by our mother/father, by brother/sister, by our friends, by our colleagues, by so-called strangers and of course by our dearest loved ones too.

Most of what you may think or feel as you, that very “you” was co-created by these many ones with whom you have lived and loved. Yes, it is in this very special, most sacred space of relationship that we make our greatest creation, our true self. Our creation by relationship forms the alchemical space of becoming; it is in this forge of humanity that we make one another. In these “Fields of Creation”, through our sacred spaces, it is here that we make one another, it is here that we share and shape one another, and we lift ourselves out of our greatest illusion, that we are separate and apart from one another.

In every life, whether in the springtime of our youth, or through the summer of our adulthood, and into the fall of our later years, we are created and re-created by all of our relationships, and most especially by those who care for us and for those for whom we care most deeply.

We are Spirit-Life-Consciousness, and our purpose is simply this, we are here to become a more prefect human; we are here to grow, and so we must change. And if that is so, then so must our sacred spaces of relationship grow and change too; only if they become better can we be better.

In all our relationships, we have formed patterns of action and reaction in order to help one another, to respond to one another, to meet one another’s needs. It is by giving and receiving, by our sharing and creating, it is by this that we are able to make possible our mutual growth and self-realization through one another. We are truly one another’s path to self-fulfillment.

But time and time again, some of our patterns may become too fixed and determined, and if we are not attentive, we may move away from a spiritually true, growing and adaptable set of responses to one another and devolve into ever more rigid reactions to one another. Rather than acting lovingly and purposefully, we fall into regrets, recriminations and regressions.

We may and can and should grow together, but we may also grow apart. We may deepen our understanding of one another or lose our way in a house of mirrors of misunderstandings.

But here is where the Light of Libra comes in, to show us by a loving reason and objectivity the way forward. The first step begins with you, to reconsider “what am I asking of you, and what am I offering to you”. The only way to restore or improve most any relationship is to understand that you must “be the change” you wish to see, you must return yourself to that place of peace, of understanding, the space of true love.

This is the gift of true love, which is given with no expectation of return. Because love just is. Love is not possessive or controlling or demanding, all of which comes from fear.

If all you see is a problem “out there”, you need to ask, “why, why am I experiencing this challenge with our relationship”. By assuming a position of relative objectivity and true love, you will find that in most cases, that the resolution requires resetting your point of view and attitude. You can have a firm hope and belief, that by this movement on your part, by your effort to grow, they will respond in kind.

Yes in this time of Libra, and always and forever part of your nature, you are reminded that you are the means to one another’s perfection. You and your relationships are the instruments of renewal and rebirth. The reward is your self-fulfillment, which is true happiness, and that this will happen when you stay true to your essential nature, and remember that you are here because of love.

Sun Enters Virgo (August 22, 2025)

The Gateway to Peace
There are many ways to understand the interrelationships between the Twelve Signs of the Zodiac, whether you approach them by their element of Fire, Earth, Air and Water, or by their modalities of Cardinal, Fixed or Mutable.

By whichever manner you approach the Circle of the Living Ones, we need to see them, as we are too, as “ones of the One”, so that we can only understand them by a holistic approach, to see each of them as combining together to form the warp and weft of Creation, the shapers and formers of the one Life of Spirit.

Today we move into the second of the Earth Signs, and the second of the Mutable Signs, and at this time of the year, and forever somewhere in your chart, you will experience the gifts of Virgo, which holds one of the most essential treasures of Spirit. It is by Virgo that we move into a more perfect realization of our essential nature, and we secure for ourselves the blessing of blessings, the greatest of gifts, which is to be at peace.

The essential root nature of Spirit is the quintessential quality of “self-becoming”, which means that each and every monad of spirit, whether it be an atom, a molecule, a being like you and me, a planet or a star, indeed the entirety of the Cosmos is on a great journey of self-realization, of unfolding, of becoming and so being the One made manifest. All of Creation is alive and filled with the Light Divine; the whole Cosmos is shining. Forming the heart of every particle of Creation is the Divine Triad, and it is this which drives all the hosts of monads to move upwards through the hierarchy of Creation, because all are formed and forged by what we know as Spirit-Life-Consciousness.

After all your stretching and striving in Leo, after you were inspired by being centered upon and feeling your true self in Cancer, you had to go out, to follow your heart, you had to take a chance, to lead and to love, to stretch yourself through new roles and perform upon better stages of self-realization. But now, after your “performances”, there comes the need to adjust and refine, to learn how to do better, to be better, to improve yourself through the gift that Virgo offers you now.

You will always be “a work in progress”, but you must remember that your Higher Self never left what you call “heaven”, and that is why you will always find guidance and inspiration from within as you make your way through the many ages and lives of your journey, rising from pupil, to apprentice, to adept, to eventual mastery of your human form.

You are a microcosm of the cosmos, and just as there is a hierarchy in Creation, of many forms or realms of being, you too are formed by many vehicles, many “bodies”, all of which stand at their very own stations of spiritual development too.

The fundamental question will always be there, “what you are here for, and what is the whole purpose behind our human journey?” The answer is actually very simple, “you are here to become a more complete human”. And to do this Great Work, you will strive through and integrate all of your vehicles, in your physical body, by your emotional body, through your mental body, and abiding in your higher triad of spirit, you will work with them all so that you might lift them all up to a higher level of self-fulfillment.

Virgo is very much like, but also very different from Gemini, for both of them are ruled by the planet Mercury, the ruler of the mind. Gemini brings the gift of a being able to consider multiple points of view, of being thrilled and delighted by our wonderous talent for questioning and re-questioning, of framing and reframing our points of view. By Gemini, you are able to look at your world with “the eyes of a child”, as you wonder and experience it all from a multitude of approaches and angles, as you marvel at the miracle that is Creation.

But in Virgo, we use our Mercury-mind to find the most elegant, versatile, and meaningful way in which to understand ourselves and our world. With Virgo we are able to engage our faculties of Criticism, Discernment and Discrimination. We focus our attention, observing the intricacies, interconnections, and the many layers and countless forms of ourselves and the countless realms of Creation. And by seeing all the many forms clearly, and by discerning all their multiple connections with and to one another, we are able weave our understanding of the greater whole into the One. Where in Gemini we seek to follow our insatiable curiosity, in Virgo we bring to bear our mind’s gift for exacting analysis and refinement so that we might improve ourselves and live in beauty.

Yes, it is in this time of Virgo, or wherever Virgo is found in your chart, that you can have a deep and focal presence of your body, mind, and spirit, and it is by this that you will become better, become clearer, become more of an adept, and so more perfect in your thoughts and actions too.

Take some time now to pause and to consider, to clearly discern what was and what may be, so that you may learn how to “do better and be better” each and every day. This is a time-honored practice among many who are on the path of spiritual self-improvement, in that you should prepare for each day ahead by carefully considering what lies before you; and then, at the close of each day, you should examine how you fared and how you might do better next time.

By this and other means, you will walk the “middle path” and stay upon the path of Truth and Beauty. The way to peace and happiness is not to be found by going to some place, it is made by your own efforts to align yourself with your higher self so as to be at peace and by helping others too, for Virgo is also the sign of Service.

A good life is a beautiful life, and this is made possible by the quality and state of your thoughts. The whole purpose of metaphysical, spiritual, and philosophical teachings is to help you find the way to Peace and Happiness.

The gifts that are held by Virgo will help you to form a sacred temple of your Mind. When the path of Wisdom is followed, forged by the delicate and integral balance of your Intuition and Reason, you will achieve a loving-knowing, a mind that is lucid, self-critical and joyfully open to the ever-unfolding journey of Spirit-Life-Consciousness.

The Light Within

In Cancer you move inwards, because it is by following your heartfelt feelings that you will find the way to the center of yourself, and truly to the center of all of Creation. But it is precisely by this experience, in having met your true self that is the heart of you, the love that is the root of one and all, it is from this centering upon the source of you that you are inspired now to move out again, because you need and you must experience this truth of you, by reaching, by stretching and by becoming who you truly are…a star among the stars.

But your guiding spirit will not abandon you, nor fail you, and you will find, because your everlasting spirit is “to be and become”, that you will try, and try, and try again.
