Mr. Philip Steven Crabtree, former teacher of Jhenaidah Cadet College and a UK national, visited Marium Eye Hospital, Saidpur, on 14th March. Accompanied by Mr. Masudur Rahman, Manager of Project Development at Quasem Industries Ltd., he engaged with patients, listening to their experiences and learning about the hospital’s impactful services.

গত ২৫ নভেম্বর ২০২৪, সোমবার Quasem Foundation পরিচালিত মরিয়ম চক্ষু হাসপাতাল, সৈয়দপুর - এর আয়োজনে ও ডার্ক ইন্টারন্যাশনাল নেটওয়ার্ক এর আর্থিক সহযোগীতায় এবং সেতুবন্ধন পাঠাগারের সার্বিক সহযোগীতায় সৈয়দপুর উপজেলার, খাতামপুর ইউনিয়নের, খালিশা বেলপুকুর স্কুল এন্ড কলেজে মাঠ প্রাঙ্গণে একটি বিনামূল্যে চক্ষু চিকিৎসা ও ছানি অপারেশন ক্যাম্পের আয়োজন করা হয়।

উক্ত ক্যাম্পে ১৭৫ জনেরও অধিক রোগীর চক্ষু সেবা নিশ্চিত করা হয়, যাদের মধ্যে ৪২ জনকে সম্পূর্ন বিনামুল্যে ছানি অপারেশন এর জন্য বাছাইকরণ, ৬৮ জনের চোখের রিফ্রাকশন সেবা এবং প্রায় ৫২ রোগীকে বিনামূল্যে চশমা প্রদান করা হয়।

মরিয়ম চক্ষু হাসপাতালের এই পদক্ষেপের মাধ্যমে জেলা ভিত্তিক চক্ষুসেবা ও চিকিৎসা নিশ্চিত করতে আমাদের প্রচেষ্টা ভবিষ্যতেও অব্যাহত থাকবে।

কর্তৃপক্ষের দৃষ্টি গোচর হলে সৈয়দপুর থানায় একটি সাধারন ডায়েরী করেন প্রতিষ্ঠানের উপ মহাব্যবস্থাপক মোঃ জাকির হোসেন। কাশেম ফাউন্ডেশনের অধীন মরিয়ম চক্ষু হাসপাতাল স্বনামধন্য একটি সেবামুলক প্রতিষ্টান।

মরিয়ম চক্ষু হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষ কোন প্রকার আবেদন বা অর্থনৈতিক লেনদেন করা থেকে বিরত থাকার জন্য আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন।
