Oral Placement Therapy

ওর‍্যাল প্লেসমেন্ট থেরাপি একধরনের থেরাপি পদ্ধতি, এই পদ্ধতি ব্যবহার এর মাধ্যমে একজন স্পীচ এন্ড ল্যাংগুয়েজ থেরাপিস্ট রোগীর ( শিশু/ বয়স্ক) মৌখিক অঙগগভঙগি (কথা বলা, সঠিক উচ্চারন) উন্নত করার জন্য ব্যবহার করে থাকেন।

এই পদ্ধতি ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে বিশেষ করে মুখের অঙগ (যেমন: জিহবা, ঠোট, তালু), মাংসপেশি নিয়ন্ত্রণ ও সমন্বয় করানোর কার্যকরী পদ্ধতি।

ওর‍্যাল প্লেসমেন্ট থেরাপি যাদের জন্য উপযোগী

* কথা বলতে
* সঠিক উচ্চারনে
* কথার জড়তা কাটাতে
* খাবার চিবাতে ও গিলতে

ওর‍্যাল প্লেসমেন্ট থেরাপির মুল উদ্দেশ্য হল মুখের পেশীগুলোর সমন্বয় উন্নত করা ও মৌখিক কার্যক্রমের দক্ষতা বাড়ানো। যার ফলে যোগাযোগের উন্নতি এবং নিরাপদ খাওয়া ও গিলানোর সক্ষমতা বাড়ানো যায়।
