The tech brand Apple is extremely popular across the world and its devices are often known to save lives of people, because of its advanced features.

In a latest related development, the company’s augmented reality (AR) device, Apple Vision Pro has been used in one of the surgical centres of Pristyn Care in the national capital, for a live bariatric surgery.

It is for the first time that the device has been used for something like this and it lasted for 40 minutes, on a 45-year-old patient weighing 155 KG.

Clinical trials for the world's first "tooth regrowth medicine" will begin in September at Kyoto University Hospital, researchers announced on May 2.

The medicine will initially be tested on healthy individuals, with patients suffering from congenital tooth deficiency to follow. The aim is to confirm the medicine's safety and effectiveness, with hopes to market it by 2030.

The treatment deactivates USAG-1 protein, enabling tooth growth. This breakthrough could benefit those with congenital tooth absence and those who have lost teeth due to cavities or injuries.

A woman who was born with a rare condition known as double uterus gave birth to two twin girls whom she carried in each of her uteruses during her pregnancy.

Kelsey Hatcher of Dora, Alabama, delivered one girl on Tuesday, and another on Wednesday following 20 hours of labor, according to the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

"Our miracle babies were born! They decided they were rare enough statistically that they should just go ahead and have their own birthdays too," Hatcher wrote on Instagram.
