Continuity and stability update at Bühler Group
We are pleased to announce that Samuel Schär has assumed the role of CEO of Bühler Group, effective January 1, 2026. He succeeds Stefan Scheiber, who will be proposed as Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting in February 2026.
Samuel joined Bühler 20 years ago and has since held several key leadership roles, including heading the Advanced Materials segment and leading the Global Services & Sales organization. His appointment stands for continuity and stability for our employees, customers, and partners.
We thank Stefan Scheiber for his 10 years of leadership as CEO and look forward to his continued contribution in his proposed new role. We also extend our sincere gratitude to Calvin Grieder, who will step down in February as Chairman after 25 years in various leadership positions at Bühler.

Here’s a glimpse into the largest silo complex in Southeast Asia, developed together with Bangladesh’s City Group, and the dedicated people who made it possible.

Supporting the 5,000-ton Rupshi flour mill on the banks of the Sh*talakshya River, this facility offers an impressive 305,000 tons of storage capacity. The first phase was completed in just 16 months, giving the mill a strong head start in serving Bangladesh’s growing food needs.
