Marathon update 🤍🏃🏼‍♀️

The marathon is still happening🙌🏻💯
Just not in the way I originally planned…

The past few weeks have been intense. Stress was high, recovery wasn’t optimal, and even though my condition improved a lot… my body simply couldn’t follow at the same pace.

Training for 42.2 km is no joke.
You cannot underestimate what that asks from your nervous system, your muscles, your hormones, your recovery.

With ’s guidance, we decided to adjust instead of push through.
Not because I can’t do it, but because I want to do it right.

This isn’t failing❤️‍🔥
It’s reprogrammin✅
Choosing long-term strength over short-term ego💪🏻🙌🏻

My message to you:
Listen to your body.
Surround yourself with the right people.
Train smart.

You don’t become stronger by breaking yourself.
You become stronger by respecting the process 🤍

Je hoeft niet altijd sneller, verder of harder te gaan om je goed te voelen 💪🏻💚
Volgens het Zweedse concept Lagom draait het net om precies genoeg: niet te veel, niet te weinig… maar wat écht goed voelt 🤍

en daagden me uit om één van de 8 Lagom-gewoontes uit te testen. Want wist je dat de helft van de bestuurders zich gestrest voelt achter het stuur? Meer rust begint vaak buiten de auto; in beweging, in de natuur.🌳🍂🤸🏼‍♀️

Dus ruilde ik mijn warme indoor workout in voor buiten bewegen, op mijn eigen tempo, ongeacht wind of kou. Het vertrekken was niet evident… maar het gevoel achteraf? Rustiger. Meer ademruimte. Meer balans.🙏🏻❤️

Misschien is dat wel Lagom.
En ja: het deed écht deugd. 🌿
