Neem tijd om te rusten
Je bent dan niet ‘lui’ Die opvatting komt voort uit de samenleving die altijd maar meer&meer eist van iedereen.
Gebruik de komende maanden om tot rust, tot bezinning te komen. ‘Je winterslaap’ 🌀🩵
De natuur toont het… 🍁🍂

Stilte is niet de afwezigheid van geluid, maar de aanwezigheid van een diepere klank. Het is de taal die de ziel spreekt wanneer de geest rust vindt. En het is in die taal dat we de wereld opnieuw kunnen verstaan. Want in de stilte liggen de antwoorden die in het lawaai verloren gingen.
Om in stilte te gedijen, hoeven we ons niet af te sluiten van de wereld. Juist in het midden van onze dagelijkse leven kunnen we stilte vinden. Ze is daar in de tussenruimtes, in de pauzes tussen woorden. En de uitdaging is niet het vinden van stilte, maar het leren haar te bewonen. Om de rijke leegte te durven betreden die ze biedt, zonder de neiging om haar onmiddellijk te vullen met afleiding, vermeende verantwoordelijkheden of gedachten.
Het leven wordt gevonden in de ruimte die we geven aan wat niet gezegd hoeft te worden.

There is a little coffee shop, where two people arrive and approached the counter.

“Five coffees please. Two for us and three hanging.”

They paid, they took their two coffees and left.

I asked the waiter. "What’s this about hanging coffees?"

“Wait and you'll see."

Some more people came in.

Two girls asked for a coffee each, they paid & left.

The following order was for seven coffees and it was made by three women - ‘three for them and four hanging coffees.’

I was left wondering...what is the meaning of the hanging coffees, they leave.

Then, a man dressed in worn clothes, who looks like he might be homeless, arrives at the counter and asks sincerely...

“Do you have a coffee hanging?"

“Yes we do, sir.”

They serve him a coffee.... I got my answer.

People pay in advance for a coffee that will be served to whoever can't afford a hot drink.

This tradition started in Naples.

Amazingly, it has spread throughout the world’s cities and towns.

It’s also possible to order not only "hanging coffees" but also a sandwich or a full low cost meal.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could all start doing this in the cities and towns where we live?

Small kindnesses like this can impact so many lives, in ways we could never imagine.

Maybe we should all try it.😊❤️

Imbolc, 1 van de 8 Keltische jaarfeesten, markeert het midden tussen winter en lente. De winter kruipt langzaam weg en de eerste tekenen van de lente komen om het hoekje kijken. Imbolc staat in het teken van vruchtbaarheid en zuivering.

Heerlijke winterse wandeling 🥾
Inspireert me keer op keer 💚

De natuur toont je wat je nu mag doen :
* in rust gaan
* reflecteren
* weldra nieuwe intenties zetten (wacht nog even tot Imbolc (begin februari)
* laat hetgeen jou niet meer dient los of transformeer het tot iets nieuws dat je blijvend bij je draagt, in een andere vorm

Geniet nog even verder van het 💙❄️ ‘winteren’. ❄️💙
Het mag, het is ok, om even extra tijd voor jezelf te nemen.
