Breast augmentation. Result more than 2 years after the initial procedure.

For this patient, a moderate increase in volume was chosen to achieve a natural and harmonious result. Dual plane technique. This is partially under the muscle. Very stable durable result. No ripling. No visibility of the implant. Good cleavage with upper pole fullness, pert.

Think about what you want to become in life. The sooner you know, the sooner you can work towards your goal. It saves time ⏰, energy, and gets you where you want faster.

When I chose medicine, I knew the path was going to be long. If you choose medicine, you have to be passionate about it so that you are able to sustain the journey.

Post-op Day 3
Our patient is doing extremely well following a Type 3 forehead recontouring and Adam’s apple reduction.
The scars are barely visible. In a Type 3 forehead recontouring procedure, the anterior wall of the frontal sinus is detached and then moved backward and secured with two small titanium screws. In addition, several other procedures usually are performed, such as shaving of the sides of the orbits, a brow lift, and often a hairline reduction as well. For the Adam’s apple , there almost never is an effect on the voice and the scar is nicely hidden as well.
Results may vary, of course, and we can never guarantee them. We are extremely grateful to this patient for sharing her results with us.

Early result 3 days after surgery

The early results after forehead reconstruction are already visible. The 3-hour procedure included brow bone reduction (including frontal sinus osteotomy and reduction and refixation of the anterior bone plate, type 3), hairline lowering, and eyebrow lifting in order to create a softer and harmonious feminine facial contour.

Quite a lot of swelling is still present. Swelling typically may be worse at this stage. Healing will continue over the next 6 weeks, swelling will disappear and the final result will become visible. Sutures will be removed 7–10 days after the procedure.

Singelbergclinic is a combination of a private plastic surgery clinic and a Belgian general hospital. We are amongst the few private clinics in Belgium with a very strong and safe link to a general hospitals.

Therefore we are able to provide high quality cosmetic, reconstructive, maxillofacial and plastic surgery. Consultation and post-operative check-ups take place in London, whereas the procedure itself takes place in the Singelbergclinic or in the general hospital of Bornem ( www.sjk.be) All consultations and check-ups are done by the surgeons themselves .

The private Singelbergclinic is a brand-new and private clinic where smaller cases are done. At the end of the day, the patient will go to a near-by hotel. The next day there is a check-up in the clinic.

In the general hospital of Bornem, more complex or time-consuming cases can be performed, and the patient can stay as long as needed in the hospital for his/her aftercare. Some patients, like are facial remodeling and breast reconstruction patients, will spend their first night on ICU.
