Coaching is sometimes… saying nothing.
In this clip you’ll see two things happening at once:
1️⃣ Our team building a beautiful attack that ends in a true team goal.
2️⃣ Me on the sideline, deliberately not shouting or steering every action.
👉 Why? Because players deserve the freedom to make their own choices, recognise their own mistakes, and find their own solutions.
Yes, I coach but I try to do it at the right moments: during stoppages, when focus drops, or when they need a push.
Not to control every pass.
Players only truly develop when they learn to see, decide, and execute without us telling them what to do every second.
What do you think?
Should we give young players more freedom during matches, or guide them more closely? 👇
