The course was organized in collaboration with Medtronic and it was a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and advance medical expertise together.

🌎 Our 84th BARIAlink Academy session was broadcast live from Tunisia 🇹🇳 during the BARIAlink Expert Meeting, excellent hosted by Sofiène Ayadi and Ala Wafa.

We had an outstanding session with challenging cases, valuable insights and engaging discussions. Also the social part was just splendid with wonderful visits to Tunis city and Carthage. 🌶️

We are very grateful and honored to have been part of this so nicely organized BARIAlink event.

World Obesity Day is een belangrijk moment om stil te staan bij de impact van obesitas, niet alleen op de samenleving maar ook voor ieder mens persoonlijk. 🌎💙

Als Centrum voor Obesitaschirurgie in AZ Sint-Jan Brugge nemen wij onze verantwoordelijkheid om iedereen die bij ons langskomt te ondersteunen op hun weg naar een gezonder leven.
In ons centrum staat individuele begeleiding en persoonlijk contact met de patiënt voorop. Het is onze missie elke patiënt met obesitas de juiste oplossing te bieden. Wij voorzien niet alleen in chirurgische behandelingen, maar ondersteunen onze patiënten gedurende het hele traject met deskundigheid en toegewijde begeleiding. 🤝

Ons team werkt elke dag aan bewustwording over obesitas, het doorbreken van stigma en het stimuleren van blijvende gedragsverandering. Samen streven wij naar een betere gezondheid en een nieuwe start voor onze patiënten. 💪🏻✨

This week, we had the pleasure of organizing a Bariatric Masterclass in collaboration with IntoCare and DMB Medical. Surgeons from Spain 🇪🇸 and KSA 🇸🇦 attended the masterclass, which offers an exclusive educational opportunity for surgeons seeking to enhance their skills in bariatric surgery.

Last week we hosted a 2-days Olympus Onsite Medical Expert Training in bariatric surgery in AZ Sint-Jan Brugge AV. We welcomed surgeons from Denmark 🇩🇰 , Germany 🇩🇪, Italy 🇮🇹, Norway 🇳🇴, Poland 🇵🇱 and Switzerland 🇨🇭.

Thanks to our team, the visiting surgeons and Olympus. 🙏

Dr. Dillemans was pleased to be invited by Dr. Malik as an expert for the Revisional Bariatric Surgery Masterclass in Dammam 🇸🇦 held on December 14 – 15, 2025.
Together with a great team of former fellows, including Dr. Khaled and Dr. Noor, Dr. Dillemans successfully performed 4 (very) challenging revisional cases.

Dr. Dillemans had the pleasure of hosting a highly engaged and diverse group of surgeons from 🇨🇴 Colombia, 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇯🇴 Jordan, 🇪🇬 Egypt, 🇲🇦 Morocco, 🇮🇷 Iran, 🇱🇾 Libya, and 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia for the onsite course ‘Medical Expert in Bariatric Surgery’ (Nov 26–27, 2025) organized in collaboration with Fullbright/Fengh.

The program offered in-depth insights into revisional surgery after weight regain and complication management, with live demonstrations of various surgical techniques and interactive discussions throughout.
