Capsular contracture can develop slowly, sometimes over 15–20 years.
Pain, hardness, visible asymmetry, or changes on imaging can be warning signs.
Implants are not changed unless there’s a clear clinical or imaging indication.

Since I travel a lot and talk about aesthetic surgeries, some of you think I stopped doing breast reconstruction!!
Well, breast reconstruction still my passion and my mission in this world. There is no better service you can do to your patients more than breast reconstruction.
Here is a case of Total body restoration after bilateral mastectomies : bilateral breast reconstruction using free DIEP flap taken from the abdomen.
Reconstructive surgery made me better person. When such patient express her gratitude to me, I feel I’m king of the world 🥰

The abdominoplasty flap breast reconstruction: the ultimate aesthetic refinement in breast reconstruction after mastectomy for breast cancer. In a single surgery, a new breast was made from skin and fat harvested as free DIEP flap from the abdomen which closed as a real abdominoplasty. In three hours surgery, 4 days at hospital, 4 week recovery: a total body restoration was achieved.
