In 1998, the European Breast Cancer Conference (EBCC) was set up to provide a platform for breast cancer specialists and patients to discuss the multidisciplinary approach to breast cancer care. It provided the specialists with the lat

est updates in treatment. It was the first conference of its kind, which had a patient advocacy organisation as a partner, ensuring that latest information reached the patients.
