01/01/2026
A new year has arrived, and it’s time to reflect on the year that has passed.
It was a good year. I feel grateful.
Even though nothing in life is perfect, I know I am one of the lucky ones.
As I get older and hopefully wiser, I feel the need to set new goals and new limits in my life.
For 2026 and beyond, I wish—and I choose—to work on having more time for my family. Because in the end, the only things that truly matter are our health and the moments we share with the people we love.
I want to be present for my family’s important moments, and also for the small, ordinary ones. I want the freedom to enjoy a weekend off, to go to the cinema without stress, to feel more free.
Obstetrics is an extraordinary profession. It is more than a job—it is adrenaline, passion, and purpose.
After 12 years of nonstop private practice and approximately 1,400 births, the moment has come to reduce the pace.
Throughout these years, I have been fortunate to work with a team of incredible collaborators who can replace me when I am absent for a birth. I am also incredibly lucky to have two amazing midwives on my team who are fully capable of attending births as well.
I wanted to share this decision publicly—otherwise, I might not even believe that I truly made it.
I truly appreciate your understanding and support as I take this step toward a more balanced rhythm, allowing space for both my patients and my family.
Wish you all a very happy New Year! 🎄🎁
May this new chapter bring you clarity, peace, and the courage to choose what truly nourishes your soul.
Thank you for your love and for the trust you place in me—I am deeply grateful.
