ℹ️ | Dissolution of the Brugmann Foundation |

After 14 years of existence, the Brugmann Foundation has decided to dissolve. This took effect on 31 January 2025.
The Brugmann Foundation has been, at the heart of the CHU Brugmann, a major driving force in supporting medical research and development. A total of 157 scientific projects, from all medical disciplines, have been brought to fruition thanks to this structure.

👨‍🔬 | New perspectives for research |

Research remains a priority within CHU Brugmann, and the institution's university character will continue to be supported.
A new structure to support research will be defined in the near future.
This new entity will also be able to respond to the current challenges in the hospital sector.

🏃 Comme l’année dernière, une équipe aux couleurs de notre hôpital participera à la prochaine édition des 20km de Bruxelles / 20km door Brussel, le 26 mai.

🏆 Un challenge qui va de pair avec une collecte de dons en faveur d'un des deux projets proposés pour l'occasion par la clinique du sport et mis en avant par la Brugmann Foundation : la création d'une salle de sport dédiée au personnel, et la création d’un terrain multisport pour la rééducation des patient·es.

🏃 Zoals een jaar geleden, zal een team in de kleuren van ons ziekenhuis deelnemen aan de volgende editie van de 20 km door Brussel.

🏆 Het is een uitdaging die gepaard gaat met het inzamelen van donaties voor een van de twee projecten die de Sportkliniek voor deze gelegenheid heeft voorgesteld en die door de Brugmann Stichting worden gepromoot: de bouw van een sporthal voor het personeel en de aanleg van een multisportterrein voor de revalidatie van patiënten.

Congratulations to Joëlle Nortier ( /Dialysis ) and Salvatore Campanella (FNRS/ULB/CHU Brugmann, Psychiatry) for having obtained a grant in 2022 under the Iris Research Call and to Serena Borrelli ( ,CHU Brugmann) who obtained funding under the Funds Claire Fauconnier, Ginette Kryksztein & José and Marie Philippart-Hoffelt (managed by the King Baudouin Foundation)

🏃‍♂️ Le CHU Brugmann et la Brugmann Foundation mobilisent leurs forces et constituent une équipe à l'occasion des 20 km de Bruxelles le 28 mai prochain.

🫶 Un challenge à dimension solidaire puisqu'il va de pair avec une collecte de dons en faveur d'un des projets mis en avant par la Fondation : le jardin thérapeutique de la revalidation neurologique et la consultation spécialisée "sarcopénie".
