Get to know the ACT-INCLUSIVE project better!✨

It helps make schools more welcoming for all students, including those with disabilities. It raises awareness about inclusive education and gives teachers and students tools, games, and training to create more inclusive classrooms.

Too often the work of parents, siblings, and extended family of people with disabilities is overlooked. They take on the role of informal carers due to lack of support, funding and guidance.

EASPD and Fondazione Paideia will explore how disability services can support families and people with disabilities to enjoy a community life. Join us at our conference, 'Empowering families, enabling self-determination: rethinking support services at every life stage'.

After 2 years, the DDS Map project has come to an end!

Meeting in Brussels, the partners discussed their final reflections on the project results. They highlighted the need for non healthcare workers to be more involved in digital upskilling.

And to make sure that lifelong learning is a possibility for health care and allied professionals including social workers. The DDS Map online course on digital skills is one step in this direction

Today, AccessibleEU is celebrating the European Accessibility Act taking effect in all EU Member States on 28 June.

The European Accessibility Act will improve the lives of people with disabilities by ensuring they can access goods and services as everyone else.

AccessibleEU is a flagship initiative of the European Commission working to build a resource centre on accessibility in many areas, including ICT, transports and built environment.

Cities with over 50,000 inhabitants can apply to be recognised for their efforts to make life more accessible for persons with disabilities.

🛠️ New this year: a Special Mention on Accessibility in Housing.
