HPV is responsible for almost all cervical cancers in Europe and contributes to more than 6 other types of cancers. Overall, it causes about 4.5% of all cancers worldwide.��These diseases are largely preventable.�

Science delivers results when collaboration turns knowledge into action 🙌🙌🙌

Today, on World Health Day, we would like to remind our members of our recently published position statement on addressing the unmet needs and care gap in women’s health in the European Union. In a high-level strategy meeting at the EU Parliament in January, we proposed an EU-wide ecosystem of Centres of Excellence for Women’s Health.

The statement sets out a blueprint for EU-wide action, supporting gender equality, health
equity, & innovation in women’s health policy.
