If you life in the city, you know that city noise comes with the territhory, starting at 5 AM in the morning with the first deliveries, at 6 AM the City hall starts to be build till 9-10 PM and by day all is going to be full of traffic getting into the city where they do not belong. And than, for a short time our houses give way to a deep sleep from
2-5 AM
I get that, but at least at that moment I have in my house that is in the middle of the city costing a lot, and was choosen under those circumstances a few hours of rest, I love it and hope that the city will not become one big theatre, and me and my house only a statist in a bad play, that is not paying out anything for its citizens that live there. Last year a place that used to be a restaurant became abused as a bar without permission to be on the street and soo loud. All our 58 citizens that are living around the Visverkopersstraat/ Rue de poissooniers came together as the noise was too loud till deep into the night. And now we see again a place that is not restaurant that closes at 9PM is opening and it is laready gave us a warning , they want to stay open till 6AM!!!! How is that possible? Who gives permissions, without checking the rregion destionation of this area as living area!!! Who did not inform this person about the problems of last year, and that we will be against it and will use all our legal and activist force to get our night rest back!!! We are ready to fight for our rights as city citzens for a low noise emmision in the inner city, with the many big events in our streets during the year, we have enough. Or the city close down this place or they are going to pay the price, and for sure the people that did not even talk to their neighbours..... lets fight!!!
