✨ It’s my birthday today, but I’m the one giving you a gift ✨

Since I’m on a little teaching break, I wanted to bring the healing energy of my sound baths straight to your home.

Last night, I taught my last class for a little while.

September has been so full and emotional:
Proud moments as a mother in Sweden (celebrating Harold’s PhD 🎓 & meeting Eliott’s first baby 👶)
A moving visit to Paris
A powerful water & sound immersion session
And sweet goodbyes to my students 🥹 & .brussels

So grateful for it all 🙏 Now it’s time to pause, care for myself, and face tomorrow’s surgery.

Thank you for being here. I’ll keep you posted and can’t wait to come back. 💜

I’ve taken a tough decision 💫
On October 1st, I’ll be having
back surgery.
❤️‍🩹
It’s been a long road of resisting, fearing, and postponing… but now feels like the right time and the right solution.

This also means I’ll be taking a teaching break for a few months. Back in January (maybe slowly already in December).

So, if you’d like to join me, September is the time. I’ll still be guiding my Lagom classes and MIX schedule. (See 📅 2nd picture)

☀️ As August slowly fades, that back-to-school feeling is in the air… and I find myself looking back on summer.

This year, I brought my crystal singing bowls outdoors, letting the wind, the birds, and the water weave into the sound. 🌿🌊🐦
Nature added its own harmony, and each vibration felt even stronger and deeper.

Such beautiful moments… and the best part? Summer isn’t over yet.
Let’s soak up every last ray of sunshine. ☀️

🇸🇪🇧🇪 I’ve lived in Belgium my whole life and yet, I still feel Swedish.
Deeply rooted in a country that values balance.
Balance in lifestyle, in nature, in how we live each day. And they even have a word for it: Lagom.
Not too much, not too little, just right.

It perfectly reflects my own philosophy: finding harmony between yin and yang.
And here’s something I love: hidden inside LagOM is the universal sound OM… a little reminder that meditation, yoga, and sound (vibrations !) can lead us to that place of peace.
So, of course, that’s how I named my studio : Lagom Balance ♎️🕉️

🇸🇪🇳🇴 My heart is full. Just back from 10 days in Norway and Sweden, a true Scandinavian summer with fjords, lakes, sea, forest, and family.

💦🌲Swimming, boating, visiting, picking blueberries and chanterelles… but more than anything, just being together, something I really miss, living in different countries.

💙💛 And bringing my crystal singing bowls felt like the right choice. A meaningful way to share what I do and love, with everyone across generations, from my mother to my granddaughter on the way.

Coming home soooo grateful and happy but missing them already. ❤️

I didn’t start out as a yoga teacher.

At 50, it didn’t feel “legit” to switch paths.
So I launched Lagom Balance to organise retreats for other teachers, all while working full-time in a packaging design agency.

In parallel, I trained as a mindfulness coach, then as a sound healer, guiding meditations during my events… and slowly, I began to dream of teaching myself.

When I left the corporate world (it was no longer aligned with my values), I finally gave myself permission to start.

Today, I own my own studio, teach classes of over 40 people, and feel more aligned than ever.

Next step? Bringing this work into the corporate world I knew so well, where it’s truly needed.

Some paths unfold slowly.
But they lead us exactly where we’re meant to be.

☀️ Standing with my feet in the sea in Greece today… and thinking about how exactly 2 years ago, I was in a very different place.

I had an accident. I broke my back. 💔

I had left my job in a packaging agency and was right in the middle of transitioning into my new path, teaching yoga, sound healing and sharing mindfulness. I had already started, already feeling the shift... and then I fell.

It stopped everything. Completely. Plans, ideas, energy, all on pause. And it felt like the worst timing.
But it turned out to be one of the most powerful moments of alignment. Because the only thing left to do… was experience what I had started to teach. Pause. Breathe. Be still. Listen. Trust.

The recovery was (and still is) long, but it brought me closer to the essence of what I wanted to share: softness, presence, rest, yin energy and the deep healing power of slowing down.

Today, even if I am still suffering from the consequences of the fall, I feel grateful. For the sun and the sea. And for being here. For the path I get to walk and for the detour that brought me even closer to it.

I love teaching.
I love owning my studio.
I love guiding classes in all the cool places in Brussels.
🧘🏼‍♀️
Since that very first meditation I led during a retreat in 2019, I’ve come a long way.
And while teaching fills me with purpose and joy… it also takes a toll.

My energy, my body (especially my back, they’re not always keeping up.
And the truth is: I have a hard time saying no.

I accept every new class. I ask for additional ones.
I say yes to most events and collabs, often, I even suggest them.
And every time, I feel so grateful, so happy.

I love using my bowls, my voice.
I love guiding bodies into stillness.
I love watching people soften, release, and leave lighter than they arrived.

This is what I’m meant to be doing.
But sometimes… I have to do the same for myself.

So I’m learning.
To rest.
To take classes for me.
To say no, even when I don’t want to.

And right now, I’m taking a full week off.
Eight days of no teaching.

Though let’s be honest, I’ll probably still think about class themes and plan sequences…
Because I love what I do. Truly. Deeply.

But I also love being still.
By the pool.
On the beach.
👙☀️
Balance.
That’s what I’m choosing this week.

I am still overwhelmed. 🩵💦 Yesterday was an incredible experience. I guided a transfornative meditation and sound healing at the magical

It was our first collab and I am so grateful for the 8 participants who trusted and followed me in this experience. 💙

The Dome felt like a cocoon — holding us, supporting us. The sounds moved through its rounded space and into the water, creating vibrations that touched us all.
And with the gentle, grounding presence of 💙, everyone could fully surrender and float, safely held.

There was a deep sense of connection — to ourselves, to each other, and to the space.
It was emotional. Unforgettable.

Thank you to everyone who made it so special. 💫
