I learned something amazing today.

I had my post back surgery check-up this morning… and everything looks great. After 8 months, the pain is completely gone and my back feels strong again.

My only complaint has been this weird prickly sensation on the top of my foot and big toe, like ants running under my skin. It drives me crazy, especially when I’m trying to sleep (or meditate).

But when I told the doctor, he got genuinely excited. He said that although the sensation is verrrry disturbing, it’s actually great news. It means my nerves are regenerating and growing back.

And then he said something I loved:
“When the nervous system repairs itself, it’s loud.”

For someone like me, always talking about the nervous system and its power to heal, in class, that really felt like a message.

The body is truly amazing. 😍❤️

Why is my studio called Lagom Balance? 🤍

And no… Lagom is not my last name 😄 (many people ask).

It’s is a Swedish word, which feels even more special to me as a Swede living in Belgium. It means:
“not too much, not too little, just enough.”

It’s a concept of balance, softness and simplicity.
And the more I teach yoga, meditation and sound healing, the more this word feels aligned with what I want to create:
a space to slow down, breathe, reconnect and simply be 🌿

And surely, it’s no coincidence that within Lagom, there is OM 🕉️, the universal sound and vibration.

So in many ways, it really is the perfect name for me, my studio and my classes 💜

Accompanying women through pregnancy means so much to me… 🤍🤰

Even more since becoming a grandmother a few months ago. It brings an extra layer of tenderness to each session.

In my prenatal classes, we combine gentle movement to open the hips and relieve the back, visualisations to connect with your baby, and deep relaxation with the vibrations of my crystal bowl sounds ✨

I offer occasional group classes .brussels , as well as private or couple sessions in my studio.
You’re also welcome to record parts of the session to listen at home or at the clinic.

If you feel called to be supported in this special time, I would love to accompany you 🤍👶🏼

Swipe to read some words from the beautiful new moms I’ve had the chance to guide.

So many of you come to my classes each week at , .brussels , .room.brussels and during special events… thank you 🌸
I truly love accompanying you on this journey, creating space for more calm, balance and peace, one breath and one vibration at a time.

But have you ever felt like sharing this with your colleagues?

I also offer corporate sessions and would love to bring this experience into your workplace, whether as a workshop, a team building or regular classes.
If it resonates, feel free to reach out or share your HR contact, and we can explore what would best support your team.

Together, let’s bring a little more Lagom energy beyond the studio and into the office ✨
🎁 If this leads me to your office, I’d love to offer you a class at my Lagom studio as a small thank you 💕

In this week’s classes, we explored the Swedish concept of Lagom: not too much, not too little, just right.

A gentle invitation to find your own inner balance.
Through sensations in the body… noticing where there is ease, where there is intensity, and allowing both to exist without needing to change anything.

Through Yoga Nidra… moving between opposites: cold and warm, light and heavy. Sensing how the body can hold both, and how balance often lives somewhere in between.

Through visualization… imagining that subtle point where everything feels aligned, simple, enough.

And through sound.
The soft vibration of the instruments guiding us back to center… and the quiet presence of OM within LagOM, like a reminder that balance is not something to achieve, but something to return to.

That’s why Lagom felt like the most natural, almost obvious choice for the name of my studio.

A space to listen, adjust, soften.
A space to feel what “just right” means for you.

I had my theme for this week’s classes all ready… and then I had a dream of Ganesh. 🐘✨

This has never happened before! It caught my attention so much that I looked it up and ended up adapting the focus of my classes.

And it makes so much sense, March is a month of transition, and Ganesh is all about overcoming obstacles, new beginnings, and feeling protected along the way.

It’s amazing how a dream can shift your perspective and even shape an entire week of teaching. Sometimes guidance comes in the most unexpected ways.

I was so happy to share this energy in the classes today, and even brought my little Ganesh statue with me. 🐘

Last weekend, I attended a restorative training and what stayed with me more than the poses, was the silence.

Silence as space.
Space to listen to intuition.
To let hidden sensations and emotions rise.
To allow creativity to emerge.

We are constantly overstimulated by sound, images, movement. And yet, it is often in the blank, quiet moments that true restoration happens.

As a sound healer, this really made me reflect. People come for the bowls, the vibrations, the music.

Sometimes silence can feel… unsettling. Or like something is missing. But what if the silence is part of the healing?

My classes, this week, explored this balance, sound and spaciousness, vibration and stillness.

And the feedback has been beautiful. Silence made the sound healing even more powerful and participants felt a deeper connection to themselves.

I love how every training enriches my practice and classes in some way.
Thank you .lasater for this new perspective🤍

25 years ago today, we moved into this house. And it became our home. It allowed my children grow up.
Our family changed and evolved, people and pets left and other arrived.
The playroom turned into a yoga studio.
This house shared our laughter, our tears, and every moment in between.
I love our home.

January isn’t about big resolutions, but about setting gentle intentions.

A time to hibernate.
Nature is resting.
Seeds sleep beneath the soil.
Nothing is forced. Nothing is rushed.

If resolutions don’t take root yet,
it’s not a failure.
The ground is simply still too cold.

In January, we care for ourselves first.
We plant small, gentle intentions.
Spring will do the rest.

Let’s begin this year together
without pressure,
without expectations,
with plenty of softness.

Happy New Year.
Take care of yourself. 💝
