This Friday. And I couldn’t be more excited. 🌸

I’ll be speaking at the Women’s Health Symposium on a topic that is truly close to my heart:

✨ Painful Periods Are Not Normal: Understanding Dysmenorrhea and the Body’s Hidden Signals

If you’ve ever been told to just push through your period pain — this one is for you.

I’ll be sharing:
→ Why painful periods are a signal, not a sentence
→ The science behind what’s actually happening in your body
→ The results of my own pilot study on Fascial Manipulation® by Stecco as a treatment for primary dysmenorrhea

Open to everyone — no medical background needed. Just bring your questions. 💛

"Your periods are painful. You've tried medication. You manage and carry on. But nobody has ever really explained why."

Painful periods are not normal — and yet millions of women are told to accept them as part of life.

In my latest article I explore:
🔍 What primary dysmenorrhea actually is
🔍 Why some women don't respond to conventional treatment
🔍 The role fascia plays in pelvic and menstrual pain
🔍 Early observations from my ongoing pilot research study

Because understanding why the pain is there is the first step toward actually resolving it.

Most people have never heard of fascia — yet it may be the key to understanding why their pain persists. 🔍

Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps around every muscle, organ and nerve in your body. And it contains 6 times more nerve receptors than muscle itself.

Which means when fascia is restricted — your body feels it deeply.

I'm speaking at a Women's Health Symposium this month and I couldn't be more excited 🎉

My talk: "Painful Periods Are Not Normal: Understanding Dysmenorrhea and the Body's Hidden Signals"

Because too many women are still being told that severe period pain is just part of being a woman. It's not. It's a signal — and it deserves a proper answer.
As someone currently researching the link between fascia and menstrual pain, this topic is very close to my heart.

The body always leaves clues 🔍

I’ve just launched my newsletter - a space where I write about fascia, chronic pain and women’s health. For patients who are still searching for answers. For clinicians who want to think differently about the body.

Free, once a month, in plain language.

Why does your pain keep coming back…even when you treat the right area?

Because pain is not always where the problem is.

Your body works as a connected system —and tension patterns can develop over time, often showing symptoms far from their real source.

This is something I see very often in clinical practice.

If you want to understand this better, I explain it in more detail in my latest YouTube video.

👉🏻 have you ever experienced pain that keeps coming back?

A small moment of appreciation for the person behind these photos.

These images were captured by , who did an incredible job creating a calm and natural atmosphere during the shoot.

For someone who spends most of the time treating patients rather than being in front of a camera, that made a big difference.

I’m very grateful for collaboration and the quality of work.

If u’re looking for a talented photographer, I can highly recommend his work!

Many people assume that pain always comes from the place where it hurts.

In reality, the body functions as an interconnected system.

Fascia — a body-wide network of connective tissue — helps transmit forces and coordinate movement across different regions.

This is why the origin of a problem is not always the painful area itself.
In my latest article, I explain:
📚what Fascial Manipulation® by Stecco is
📚what principles it is based on
📚and what it is not.

If you’re curious about how the body organises movement and compensation, you can read the full article on the website.
