The practice of gratitude is known to be good for our wellbeing. I believe it is something we can consciously choose to do in every moment. When we are grateful, we are really present in the moment. We pause, we breathe, we see what is there. We are grateful for the Universe as it presents itself. In one of the teachings of Karma Yoga I learned that every moment is the unfolding of previous taken actions or Karma. Whatever that we observe in every moment can not be changed because it is the result of something that happened before. So we can observe, see and be grateful for what we learn. If we do not like what we see. If we want different results in our personal lives, in our society or in our culture, we have to make different choices than the ones we made before. Karma Yoga is powerful because it makes us responsible. No longer we are victims, no longer we have to waste energy on blaming others because step by step we can make different choices that create more harmony for ourselves and the world around. Gratitude for every moment and for what that moment is teaching us is a great start.๐โจ๏ธ๐
