De Reikikring vandaag was heel fijn, dank jullie wel 🥰
De volgende is vrijdag 23 mei van 14u30 tot 17u30.

Tijdens een Reikikring nemen we je mee in een rustgevende meditatie, een diepgaande ademhalingsoefening en een reinigingsritueel, zodat je volledig kunt ontspannen en opladen.

Being able to do the things I do in this little film..
I dreamed about this when I was little.
Then stuff happened, and I got anorexic.
Almost everything was built around that, my body was getting weaker.
It's not easy to talk about, but here it is.
The reasons do not matter anymore.
It matters that I got out of the bad habits.
I changed things, I worked on myself and had loving people around me.

My movements aren't perfect, I am not perfect. That is ok.
I am much heavier than I was. That is ok.
I am much stronger than I ever was. And that.. that is great.
Thank you to all the people around me.
For those who are struggling, there is a way.
But damn, it was hard.

So happy that I am this physically stronger version of myself now 🤍
Thank you for family, for friends, for reiki, for movement, for yoga, for handpoke, for obstacles and getting better, and for so many more things.
Thank you for sunshine, thank you for pain, thank you for joy, thank you for rain 😄 🤍 (if you know, you know)

Mijn Reikimeester en ik gaan samen in Hasselt bij de Monke Tempel een Reikikring opstarten 🥰 Wat doen we tijdens onze Reikikring? Buiten Reiki geven en krijgen, nemen we je mee in een rustgevende meditatie, een diepgaande ademhalingsoefening en een reinigingsritueel, zodat je volledig kunt ontspannen en opladen 🌟 De sessie duurt ongeveer 3 uur en biedt je de kans om diep in de Reiki-energie te duiken 🤍

The sign of a capricorn. This is another one for Björn, thank you again for your trust 🤍 It's not just a zodiac sign for him, it is a statement of who and what he is.

If you look at it, it also states a 'no'. He sees it as a no against liars and people that intentionally hide behind masks. He wishes to be true to himself and that those around him are true to themselves 🌟
What a wonderful idea behind this beautiful sign ♑️

I'm so happy and excited to share this with you 🤗
Salvia Inks' website has gotten a total makeover!
And so has the logo (amongst other things).

The heavy black has made way for the refreshing sage colour 💚 🌿
It is no accident that this colour was chosen 🙃
The name 'Salvia' is also the Latin name for Sage (Salvia officinalis).
I've come to appreciate sage more and more, in cooking, in cleansing, ...

The lightness of the colour reflects more where I'm at and what I want to represent and offer:
A soothing and peaceful environment where Handpoked tattoos and Reiki are offered as part of a mindful, therapeutic experience.

In response to what I saw from
2024 has been a personality shaping and expanding year.
- I left behind my wonderful tattoo teacher .jer and started on my own path at .
- The temple has a lovely wallpainting, made by yours truely. Calling it lovely myself, is quite the step forward, in the past I would have never dared call my own work 'lovely'.
- Some lifechanging trips were made psychologically. This is in accordance to my selfdevelopment work (in myself and in others).
- I'm grateful for getting to know Ashtange yoga in . It's rather addictive and has helped me develop my muscles, my breathing routines and meditation abilities.
-I'm a librarian at and in 2024 my fixed-term contract changed to a permanent one. I'm thankful for this stability in my life.
- I've evolved from machine tattooing to handpoking (). This feels so much more in line with my norms and values. A slightly slower but steady progress, in a calm environment. I'm in love with this way of tattooing.
- I took a leap and am now a Reiki Master. After 5 years of learning and practising. This means it will be a part of me for life. I'm bound to it and it to me, and for that I am grateful. So many doubts have been overcome and it truely is a path of continuous learning. Which I love. When I was 15, I always wondered.. do we live to learn or learn to live. Lately I've realised it's both.
- I've met so many wonderful people at .
- My first tattoo (on myself) is a fact. A deep dive to putting my wedding ring on my own finger. Forever bound to from
- The first full sleeve project is almost done. Thank you so much for your trust and letting me do my thing
- A special thank you to my husband for trusting in me and my work. And letting me pursue my dreams.
- Another special thanks to Arnout/ for letting me work at the wonderful place that is the temple. And for letting me practise my reiki skills every month during and after my Reiki Master evolution.
- A thanks to all the people that make such a place. You are the change in the world.
- I got to know, and said goodbye to a wonderful person. She showed my that my work (reiki and tattooing) can have such a deep connecting and relaxing value. Teaching someone that death is just an other step in life.
- A big, I love you all to my friends and family for all the sh*ts and giggles, the serious moments and shoulders to lean on.
May our paths cross many times.
