The origin of our fan favourite, After Oil, lies in the colourful coastal town of Cartagena, Colombia. Eric, one of RainPharma’s earliest team members, grew up there. Because his skin dried out quickly from the sun and salty sea water, his mother used to rub him with oil daily. When Eric joined RainPharma, he brought this treasured family ritual with him—introducing Belgium to the magic of After Oil.

Did you know? Using a natural shampoo with a silicone-based conditioner doesn’t make much sense. Why does RainPharma avoid silicones? Because they’re water-repellent and coat your hair with a glossy film. That may create shine and volume in the short term, but it doesn’t improve your hair’s actual condition. If your hair is dry or brittle, it stays that way. Plus, silicones are hard to wash out and can build up on your scalp.
