This week, we had the pleasure of hosting the finalists and their mentors for the 6th GC Academic Excellence Contest at GC Europe’s campus in Leuven! 🦷✨

With 150 participants from over 60 universities in 20+ countries, the top 19 finalists presented their work before the jury on Friday. After a fantastic round of presentations, here are the winners of this year’s edition:

🔹 Thanks to its short fibres, it offers exceptionally high fracture toughness, efficiently reinforces weakened teeth, and redirects cracks to prevent catastrophic failures.
🔹 With its thixotropic viscosity, it adapts perfectly to cavity floors without slumping — even in upper molars — making treatments faster and easier.
