Work in progress, carving a 72 cm -28.5 inches high shield ( depicted de Marguerie coat of arms) custom made for a French client.
To date, this is the tallest shield I ever made, but next month this will change. Then a shield will be made that is 3 feet high. ( 91 cm ) For a client in the US. We keep you posted, enjoy the weekend.

Heraldic Woodcarver

Heraldic Family coat of arms carved in wood is one of my specialties. It is always a personal challenge. Heraldry is a very interesting subject and I always look forward to starting a new assignment for a heraldic coat of arms.

Every heraldic coat of arms is different. Usually it starts with an example as a source of inspiration that is supplied by the customer in the form of a drawing or an old sketch. Our clients are private individuals or nobility, but it also happens that the assignment comes from a government, association or company.
