NHV Group NHV is an international helicopter transport services company, specialised in B-to-B aviation service NHV’s main focus is on the oil and gas industry.

The NHV group, based in Ostend Belgium, is specialized in B-to-B helicopter services and has a strong geographic presence in Europe and Western Africa. The group conducts operations out of several bases on the two continents with a team of over 550 employees. The group has a leading position in Europe as the only helicopter operator that conducts operations in every oil producing country in the region. The scope of work also includes: Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS), Maritime Services, which include Search and Rescue (SAR), offshore Wind Farms and Harbor Pilot Services. Vertech Offshore and Airlift are two specialized companies within the NHV group who are leaders in their niche of flare tip replacement and power grid construction and maintenance. Aside from the helicopter operations, NHV is an approved training organization (ATO) and an official service center for our partner Airbus Helicopters. The group has a multipurpose high value fleet of 65 helicopters. Since 2012, NHV has ordered 16 helicopters of the state-of-the-art Airbus Helicopters H175 model and is the global launching customer to fly the H175. NHV’s majority shareholder is Ardian, the independent private investment company with assets of US$60bn managed or advised in Europe, North America and Asia.

NHV is proud to announce the award of a long-term contract with DMAé to support training flights for 34F/ESHE!

Under this agreement, NHV will provide 3 to 4 Dauphin N3 helicopters, including full maintenance, Logistics and airworthiness support.

This contract builds on a proven and successful collaboration, and underlines NHV’s expertise in maintenance operations, operational reliability, and long-term support of maritime defence and training missions.

We look forward to further strengthening our partnership with the French Navy.

We are pleased to share that Ithaca has renewed its partnership with NHV for an additional five years in Aberdeen. This extension marks an important milestone. Ithaca entered our portfolio through Chevron North Sea Limited, which was the very first contract that started our Aberdeen operation. Ithaca has been central to our Aberdeen journey, and this new extension proudly takes our partnership to the 15-year milestone!

We are grateful for their continued confidence in our services and look forward to the next years of collaboration.

As part of the Vestas He Dreiht Offshore Wind Project, NHV successfully carried out a planned H175 helicopter crew change with a deck landing on the SOV Purus Chinook.

This operation highlights how helicopter services can effectively complement SOV-based logistics, enhancing technician welfare and ensuring operational continuity during offshore wind construction.

Exciting News!

We’re delighted to announce that NHV has been awarded a new contract with RWE!
Our H175 helicopter will be deployed to support crew change flights for the Nordseecluster Offshore Wind Farm during its construction phase.
The project will commence April 2026 and will continue through Q3 of 2026.
We’re proud to continue supporting the offshore wind industry with safe, reliable, and efficient helicopter services.
