Our hormones determine how we perceive the world,
and how we perceive the world shows how our hormones are functioning.

Hormones influence
- how our brains process info
- how we feel emotionally
- where our attention goes
- whether our energy is turned inwards or outwards
- how we sleep
- how we respond to our environment ✨

Our hormones define how we process the overwhelming amount of information we receive every minute, and help us to prioritise what matters (biologically) 〰 what is safe, urgent, interesting, or threatening.

Hormones, nervous system regulation, breathing patterns - they are all interconnected ∞

A beautiful kick off of Yoga Sangraha & Pranayama for Women’s Health from by 🙏🏽

It is so important (and simple!) to understand
➺ how our hormones function
➺ what impacts them
➺ and what our bodies need to support the well-functioning of our hormones,
so we can see & perceive the world with more calm, vitality and joy.

And that’s exactly what my upcoming workshop series explores: cyclical living & understanding female hormones.

Spring is not just a season - it’s a way of being.
Spring carries a very specific energy.
One that we often rush through on our way to “summer mode” 🔥 fueled by the increase in light, warmth, new life, and blossoming around us.

However, in nature nothing rushes.

What if this season is actually inviting us into:
〰 tender emergence instead of rapid growth
〰 curiosity and a beginner’s state of mind
〰 playfulness over focus on achievement
〰 gradual expansion rather than giving everything always your all

Spring is not about doing more.
It’s about moving lightly.
Making space for experimentation.
For trying new things.
For intentionally nourishing what you want to grow.

And often, the ideas and creations that emerge from there carry far more essence than the ones forced through pressure.

Because what you rush now…
you’ll likely have to sustain later.

Yet, the struggle is real.
How easy it is to say yes too quickly when energy starts rising again.
To overfill the calendar.
To mistake renewed energy for endless capacity.
Do you feel that too?

Let’s reframe:
cyclical living is not about suppressing expansion -
but about letting all happen gradually enough that your nervous system, body, and heart can actually come along with you.
And spring energy is an amazing ally in that.
Enjoy it, play with it, emerge with it.

Menstrual cycle awareness is about far more than hormones or tracking periods.

It is an invitation to reconnect.

To reconnect with:

🌹 your body and its signals
🌹 your emotions and inner world
🌹 your energy and changing needs
🌹 your boundaries and varying capacities
🌹 your natural rhythms
🌹 your relationship to rest
🌹 your intuition and inner knowing
🌹 the cyclical nature of life itself

For many women, menstrual cycle awareness becomes a doorway toward deeper self-understanding, self-trust, a more sustainable way of living, and a truer way of relating to their environment.

Not through rigid rules or perfect routines,
but through learning how to listen inward instead of constantly overriding the body.

Because the menstrual cycle is not separate from our wellbeing.

It influences:
how we feel,
how we relate,
how we work,
how we rest,
how we move through the world.

And perhaps most importantly:
it reminds us that our bodies are not problems to fix,
but intelligent systems to understand, support and thrive on 🌿

So many of us gaslight ourselves, and feel strong doing so.

We normalise pain.
We ignore symptoms.
We push through our ‘responsibilities’.
We don’t rest because we don’t want to miss out.
We don’t put tasks aside, because we don’t want to disappoint anyone.
We disregard our energy levels, even when our body clearly asks us to slow down.

We do it in so many ways, often so subtly that we barely notice it.

We say we can handle it.
We call it strength.

But what if this is a Masculine distortion of strength?
What if true, aligned strength looks different?

A friend recently chose not to dip into the Ganga while bleeding.
Even though she loves being in water.
Even though the thrill of cold water called her.
She knew the cold would worsen her cramps.

So instead, she sat by the river, watched us, and fully enjoyed the moment from there.

That is true, aligned strength.

Somewhere along the way, we started framing success as pushing through.
As overriding our bodies.
As pretending we don’t fluctuate in energy, emotions, creativity, focus.

The very things that are natural to female bodies have been labelled as weaknesses, inconsistencies, burdens.
And ignoring them became proof of discipline, ambition, and a “strong mind.”

But do we really want a strong mind if it comes at the cost of disconnecting from our body?

That’s not empowerment.
That’s dissociation.

If we want more wellbeing, balance, sustainability, presence, connection, leadership…
it starts with listening to the body first.
And leading from there.

That’s true strong.
That’s true power.
That’s true leadership.

When was the last time you ignored your body’s needs in order to be “strong”?
And how could listening to your body become a form of strength instead?

On average, we bleed for 7 years of our lives.
364 weeks.
2,555 days.
61,320 hours.

What if this time isn’t something to endure…
but something that shapes your entire cycle experience?
What if your bleed is not a disruption -
but a doorway?

My April bleed felt… practical.
It brought me recharge, vision & strategy.
➳ I received clear vision and direction for the cycles ahead
➳ It marked a moment to begin again - to pick things back up and realign my daily life with what I’m building
➳ After an inteeeeense cycle filled with big life events, it showed me - very clearly - that I needed rest… and helped me actually take it.

Each moon cycle, I reflect on what my bleed brings me:
🩸 How it enriches my experience
🩸 How it guides me to act on my needs
🩸 How it reconnects me to my inner intelligence
🩸 How it cleanses and recharges my energy

And I invite you to do the same.
If you feel called:
Send me a photo + reflection of your bleed.
I may include it in the next edition - so we can collectively inspire more wom(b)en to shift their experience… by shifting perspective.

Because menstruation doesn’t have to be something that drains or ruins your life.
It can be something that adds depth, clarity, value and power.

28/04/2026

Cyclical living isn’t only about syncing with your menstrual cycle.
It’s about honouring cycles in everything ꩜ in work, creativity, relationships, and life itself.

And every true cycle includes a pause.
A season of stillness.
Of letting things go quiet.

Because in the quiet… release happens.
Recharge happens.
Renewal happens.

I let Cyclical Power be still for a month. And although life itself was anything but still (beautifully, intensely alive 〰 and my body is still integrating it all), I’m returning to my work with such surprising freshness, lightness and play.

What felt heavy before now feels light.
What I used to overthink, is clear.
What I postponed, I simply do.

There is more discernment.
More tapping in the larger vision.
Less getting lost in the endless small things.

And maybe most importantly - more presence with one thing at a time, instead of fragmenting my energy & mind across everything at once.

This is the wisdom of the pause.

Rest is not separate from creation.
Stillness builds towards momentum.
Letting go is part of becoming.

There is much to build, new structures to create, strategies to embody 〰 and I’m excited to feel myself in a season of doing again.

But I want to carry the pause with me.
A reminder for myself - and for you too:
Pause.
Be still.
Let something fall away - despite it being scary.

Trust that clarity arrives when you stop pushing.

🪾 What in your life is asking for a pause right now?

17/03/2026

On average, we bleed 7 years of our life. 364 weeks. 2555 days. 61 320 hours.

And so many of us consider menstruation as inconvenient…
Pity, no, to live in inconvenience, remorse, resistance, and shame for such a huge part of your life.
Even more because menstruation is such a potent time - of renewal, rest, insight and intuition.

What if you changed your bleeding experience by shifting your perspective?

I started a journal for 2026, taking note of my bleeds,
How they enrich my experiences,
empower me to act on my needs, and
remind me of my inner intelligence.

🩸 In January, I was bleeding on 3300m altitude and felt the most powerful embodiment of the Feminine that I ever felt in my life.
🩸In February, I bled whilst my mum was here for wedding shopping. An intensive training in listening to my body and claiming rest in front of her - who didn’t grow up in a family where there’s space for rest
🩸In March, my bleed arrived amongst busy schedules. I welcomed it as my natural destressor - taking me out of the mundane things of daily life and allowing me to zoom out, relax my nervous system, and put things into perspective.

Start looking at your bleed as something that contributes to your experiences, instead of ruining it.
As something that brings you what you highly need.
And as an amazing antidote to our patriarchal hustle culture.

You bleed only occurs 13-10 times a year, or less - depending on your cycle length and regularity.
They are precious.

Honour them.
Take joy in them.
Let them be your compass & inner guide.
Let them be your deeply spiritual and intuitive allies.
Let them be your phase of cleanse and release.
Let them be the engine room of your power.

Wanna join me in this journaling?
How will you receive your bleed next time?
