For .thijs ’ TT position towards Klagenfurt 🇦🇹 we combined advanced biomechanics with physiological performance data to build a position that is not only aerodynamic… but sustainable under real race intensity.

Using NIRS (Near Infrared Spectroscopy) 🔬 we monitored real-time muscle oxygen saturation during multiple positional and load changes. This allowed us to go far beyond “looking aero” and actually measure how efficiently the body performs under stress.

The focus:
⚙️ maximize stability
🫁 preserve oxygen delivery
🚀 optimize force transfer
🧠 reduce unnecessary muscular cost over long-duration efforts

Small positional changes.
Massive physiological differences.

COMING SOON — ROCKET.FLOW 🚀😯

Most of what matters… you don’t see. Not on video. Not in numbers after the ride. It’s happening between you and the bike. On the saddle. Through the pedals. Stability is all that counts.

Subtle shifts. Small losses. Hidden gains. And lots of issues (knee pain, lower back pain, saddle sores, numb hands or feet). You get it.. 😬

We’ve always felt it. Now we start seeing it. 👁️

After our lava.flow, muscle.flow, spina.flow and peda.flow, rocket.flow is coming 🤩

Stay tuned.

Small details. Big difference. 🦋

With .vervloet we didn’t change everything , we refined what matters. A subtle instability on the right side, coming from the foot, was costing efficiency every pedal stroke.

By correcting the foundation (foot support + saddle height), everything upstream improved:
more stability, better power transfer, and a smoother, more controlled movement.

On the TT bike, one key insight stood out:
go too low → you lose oxygen → you lose power. Sometimes being “more aero” is actually slower 🥴

Sterre is ready for and her other goals this year! 🍀

Timetrial is a different universe. 🌍

Not just a different bike. Not just aero bars. A completely different biomechanical demand.

Today we worked on TT position and this is where things get fascinating.

In cyclocross, the body moves constantly. Micro-adjustments, explosive efforts, variable terrain. The position breathes.

In timetrial ? You freeze the system. 🥶

You lock the pelvis. You close the hip. You load the anterior chain. And you ask the nervous system to hold perfection for 30–60 minutes without mercy.

TT is not about comfort. It’s about sustainable tension. Small millimetric changes. Huge physiological consequences. Thermal imaging. Pelvic control. Load symmetry.

When you build a TT position, you’re not fitting a bike. You’re engineering a posture under extreme constraint.

Different discipline.
Different demands.
Different precision.

And that’s where it gets beautiful. 🔥

🚨 Knee pain on the bike? This might change how you look at it. 🚨

Patellofemoral pain.
ITB irritation.
Medial or posterior knee pain.
If you ride, you’ve probably been there.

Here’s the truth we see every day:
👉 the knee is rarely the real problem.

The knee is where load shows up, not where it starts.
Foot mechanics, cleat position, hip control, pelvic stability and motor preference all decide how stress ends up in the knee, often without showing up in power data.

That’s why so many riders try physio, injections or rest… and the pain keeps coming back.

Our approach goes beyond angles and watts.
We use:
🔥 thermography (where the body is overworking)
⚡ EMG (what muscles are carrying the load and which ones are asleep)
📍 movement mapping (saddle / feet / balance shifts)
🧬 spinal & pelvis scanning (torsion, load distribution, compensation patterns)
🧠 motor control testing + in-house sensors (how your nervous system drives movement)
If the system is compensating, the knee often pays the price.

📖 We just published a new blog explaining this in depth. If knee pain keeps returning, this is worth your time.

.meeusen1 from doing what the next generation does best: learning the craft, understanding her body, and building speed the right way. No shortcuts. Just intent, detail and ambition.

This is how the future moves. 🚴‍♀️⚡️

One quadrant at 50%. Three above 92%.

Our polar efficiency charts reveal where a rider loses efficiency during each pedal stroke. Most assume both legs contribute equally. The data often tells a different story.

We combine all kinds of sensors to pinpoint exactly where compensation happens, then adjust position to rebalance load and delay fatigue.

Technology doesn't replace judgment. It sharpens it.

What's your take on asymmetry in cycling? Worth chasing, or better left alone?

❌ Chronic neck pain isn’t chance. It’s biomechanics.

The rider arrived with ongoing cervical discomfort.
Neck stiffness. Shoulder fatigue. Symptoms increasing with time on the bike. No trauma. No acute injury.

The cause was subtle. A handlebar positioned too high altered cervical posture, forcing prolonged neck extension. Muscle activity in the upper trapezius and deep cervical extensors remained continuously elevated, disrupting load distribution and increasing tissue stress.

During the fit, posture, muscle activation (EMG) and movement patterns were analysed.
Small positional changes corrected cervical alignment and redistributed load.

The outcome was measurable: reduced muscular tension, improved stability and a calm neck under effort.

Our Lava.flow technology reveals what the eye can’t see: pressure concentration, asymmetries, and hot/cold zones that silently shape comfort, performance, and injury risk.

These thermal patterns are not “just colors.”
Hot zones often point to excessive local load, friction, or compromised blood flow. Cold zones can indicate unloading, instability, or compensations elsewhere in the system. Together, they tell a story about how the rider actually interacts with the saddle over time, not how it should look on paper.

When pressure is uneven or persistent, the body adapts. First subtly. Then structurally. Discomfort, numbness, soft-tissue irritation, and overuse injuries rarely come out of nowhere, they emerge from patterns like these.

Thermal imaging allows us to intervene before pain becomes pathology. It took us thousands of fits to understand our own technology. By combining these insights with biomechanics, posture, and on-bike movement, we turn invisible stress into actionable decisions, for comfort, durability, and long-term performance.

Some partnerships don’t need noise. They speak through trust.

We’re proud to share that we’re working with .cyclingteam and , the two teams that will merge into Lotto Intermarché in 2026.

They didn’t ask for a quick fit. They asked for precision. For road & TT bikefitting at the highest level. For answers when performance is already close to the limit.

We travelled with the team, including training camp in Spain, to work side by side with riders and staff. Not chasing trends. Not copying formulas. But measuring what others guess, and optimising what truly matters when watts, aerodynamics and durability decide races.

We stay fully independent. But throughout the season, we’ll continue to support the team wherever movement, efficiency and long-term performance can be improved.

At the highest level, performance is no longer about talent. It’s about details that most people never see.

If you’re ready to stop guessing and start understanding how your body truly works on the bike, you know where to find us.

Hidden saddle issues, prevented from being comfortable on his bike. Small adaptations reset hidden assymetry into free comfort and speed. As we always say: a quiet saddle writes the loudest speed.
