The frozen convenience sector is booming, accounting for over a third of sales in our Frozen division. Our chefs work closely with retailers to turn fresh ideas into freezer favourites, from vegan bowls to high-protein pure-plant meal components.

Consumers can enjoy them as a wholesome meal or as a healthy side dish. Initially set up a couple of years ago for the German market as a one-off promotional item, it is now being sold in more than 15 countries.

Today, it is being sold in more than 15 countries. “In the summer of 2025, we launched another new product in the range, building further on the success of pure-plant convenience,” says Valentijn Verhaeghe, Business Unit Manager for the Convenience division at Greenyard Frozen.

AI takes on weeds, boosted by precision farming.

Innovation meets agriculture at Greenyard Frozen Belgium. In collaboration with Telespazio, they are testing a cutting-edge approach to combatting harmful weeds: using AI-powered drones to scan their fields.

Over 1 600 hectares of pea and bean crops were scanned from an altitude of just 30 metres. With remarkable precision, the drones can detect weeds as small as one centimetre, or even a single leaf. Advanced algorithms then create a detailed field map, pinpointing exactly where growers need to act.

As Stefaan Goudeseune, Agro Director at Greenyard Frozen Belgium, explains: 'Our growers don’t always have the time or resources to experiment with these technologies. By making the investments ourselves, we can accelerate adoption and promote more sustainable practices.'

By investing in these technologies, we help farmers save time, work more efficiently, and we guarantee a food save crop towards our customers.

Garden S.à r.l. acquires 100% of Greenyard through simplified squeeze-out.

As a result, the Offeror owns 100% of the shares in Greenyard at completion of the Simplified Squeeze-Out and Greenyard shares are delisted from Euronext Brussels.
Greenyard will now continue to operate as a privately held global leader in fruit & vegetables.

The Green Farmers Group is one of Italy’s largest producer organisations, bringing together over 100 growers who produce fruit and vegetables across 780 hectares and 15 packing stations all year round.

As Maicol Galeati, Greenyard Fresh Italy's Managing Director, explains: “Through our Integrated Grower Relationship model, we can bridge the gap between market demand and production capacity, creating sustainable partnerships with growers while promoting pure-plant consumption.”

Since its foundation in 2021 with the support of Greenyard Fresh Italy, the group has strengthened its market position by forming close partnerships with retailers and introducing new, popular varieties.

These include the sweet yellow kiwi, which is winning over European consumers; juicy flat nectarines; and the crisp, sweet Eden pear. These varieties are ideal for consumers looking for healthy, pure-plant options with a twist.

On 3 September, our UK Finance Director, Giles Armstrong, will take on a three-day cycling challenge in support of GroceryAid. Cycling through scenic routes in the UK and the Netherlands, Giles aims to raise vital funds for an organisation that supports people across the grocery industry in times of need.

9 colleagues from our Frozen UK team took on a 15km mud run, tackling obstacles such as climbing walls, monkey bars, and barbed wire tunnels, to raise funds for The Purfleet Trust, a local charity supporting people experiencing homelessness.

Thanks to the teamwork and determination of our team, as well as the generosity of our colleagues, friends and local businesses, they raised an impressive £3 200 to support this important cause.
