💡 Functional training focuses on improving overall movement patterns that are useful in daily life or specific sports.
➡️ So if you are training in function to become a better equestrian you need to train with some basic principles in mind.
For example, movement patterns > isolated strength :
A. Movement patterns engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously in dynamic movements to enhance the body in a multi-dimensional way
B. Isolated strength focuses on increasing max strength of a certain muscle group
