NEW WORK - Brussels is the only region in Belgium where slaughter without stunning is still allowed. Also, it's the only region that doesn't use an animal on their flag.

Together with GAIA - Global Action in the Interest of Animals , we turned the official flag of Brussels into a GAIA flag, using a bleeding sheep as the new symbol. And today, by spreading flags across the city of Brussels, we call out the Brussels Parliament to finally ban slaughter without stunning and place it back on the political agenda.

Take a picture if you spot the flag, tag the responsible parties and share it on your socials.

NEW WORK - Don’t text and cross - a simple yet often forgotten message. That’s why, together with Parents of Road Victims (OVK), we decided to remind people not to use their phone while crossing the road for this year’s edition of ‘De Solidariteitsprijs’. Our print appeared in De Standaard yesterday, on the 30th of July.

NEW WORK - 20 years ago on April 23rd 2005, Jawed Karim, one of the founders of YouTube, posted ‘Me at the zoo’, the very first video on the platform. All this time we’ve focused on the story of the first human on YouTube. But now, 20 years later, we finally hear the story of the first animal on YouTube.
Launching today, shares ‘Us still at the zoo’, the story of Sumithi, one of the elephants in the original video’s background, drawing a powerful contrast between twenty years of global progress and the unchanged, confined lives of captive elephants.
