// Yin Yoga at Suhrida
A space to pause. To breathe. To return.
Yin Yoga is often seen as a newer, gentle, quiet, and still practice.
But beneath its modern form lie ancient roots: the wisdom of breath, the power of presence, the mystery of silence.
At Suhrida, I don’t wish to lose those roots.
This practice is not about stretching or holding shapes.
It’s about 𝑏𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑔 rather than 𝑑𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔: feeling, softening, listening deeply.
We begin with a short meditation, move into still postures held in silence, and end in deep rest.
In this rhythm, the body opens, the breath flows, and the mind begins to quiet.
𝑃𝑟𝑎̄𝑛𝑎 moves. Awareness deepens.
As the ancient texts say, “𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑑𝑖𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑑-𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑓𝑓 𝑖𝑠 𝑌𝑜𝑔𝑎.”
Yin invites that stillness gently, through breath and presence, not force.
In a world that moves fast, this practice offers something rare: a moment to slow down and remember who you are beneath it all.
You are welcome, just as you are.
