Ida is one of our dedicated team members in a truly unique logistics chain! 💙

Over a hundred people work in logistics at Kinnarps. As soon as an order is received, work begins to plan production and delivery so that the interior solution is delivered and installed on time. Even during furniture production, it’s already determined when it will be delivered, by which truck, and where in the truck it will be placed. Our loading staff ensures that furniture is loaded into the truck in the order it will be unloaded at the customer’s site.

Once everything is loaded and ready, our delivery staff take over. They are both professional drivers and experienced assemblers, enabling us to deliver and install the interior solution in a single visit.

Ida Tolonen is one of the persons working in deliveries as part of our logistics chain. We asked her about her day-to-day life at Kinnarps:

“As an employee, I feel that Kinnarps has great confidence in me. I have a lot of trust-based independence, which lowers my stress levels significantly compared to my previous jobs. It also gives me room to get to know myself and grow as a person.”

From School to Community Hub

Westerlundska Upper Secondary School is more than just a school – it's a vibrant meeting place for the whole community. Designed to be accessible and active around the clock, the school’s auditorium hosts external events such as lectures, concerts and sports camps, with classrooms used for educational sessions. The dining hall also welcomes visitors – for example, pensioners who can enjoy lunch there.

The vision of creating a warm and welcoming living room is brought to life through an open layout, natural materials such as wood and stone, and earthy colour tones.

“The interior design from Kinnarps complements the architecture and contributes to our educational concept of inclusive learning with the watchwords ‘see’ and ‘support’. We want a calm and distraction-free environment that does not disturb or trigger students in a negative way,” says Maria Johansson, Programme Director at the school.

Did you know that our blue delivery trucks are manned by our own Kinnarps fitters? On delivery, they carry in the furniture, unpack it and assemble it, leaving everything nice and tidy ready for you to use.

Did you know that our delivery staff are both professional drivers and experienced assemblers? Enabling us to deliver and install the interior solution in a single visit! 🤝

Combined with our efficient packing method (mainly using reusable blankets and cardboard sheets instead of single-use packaging), this means we can install the solution in half the time compared to our competitors, causing minimal disruption to your operations.
