Over a hundred people work in logistics at Kinnarps. As soon as an order is received, work begins to plan production and delivery so that the interior solution is delivered and installed on time. Even during furniture production, it’s already determined when it will be delivered, by which truck, and where in the truck it will be placed. Our loading staff ensures that furniture is loaded into the truck in the order it will be unloaded at the customer’s site.
Once everything is loaded and ready, our delivery staff take over. They are both professional drivers and experienced assemblers, enabling us to deliver and install the interior solution in a single visit.
Ida Tolonen is one of the persons working in deliveries as part of our logistics chain. We asked her about her day-to-day life at Kinnarps:
